• make sure the warning system is easily understood

• stress importance of following
 evacuation plan

• Post a list of essentials to take in case
 of emergency

• Teach all students warning signs for tsunamis,
 like quickly receding tides
Defenses Against
           Tsunamis




• Set up 100 coconut trees along coast (will be a strong
  barrier against waves)
• Purchase sand for 50 additional dunes (set behind trees
  as additional sturdy defense)
Tsunami Warning System




• Place 3 Seismographs in the bay
• Alarms and sirens sound if activity is detected
• Evacuation notices appear on all media
• Hospitals nearby are ready for injured victims
• Chennai Coast Guard alerted and ready to dispatch
  upon disaster

               To quickly evacuate to further inland, organize officers to
            control traffic, and open both sides of the road for driving on the
                                   following highways:



*Chennai Tiruvalur High Rd.                     *Poonamalee High Rd.
 * Great Northern Trunk Rd.                     *Mount Poonamalee Rd.
                          *Mariamman Koll St.
Cleanup After Tsunami/
        Control of Disease




*Move affected residents to lucky hotel temporarily, where
 they will get food, water, and shelter

*Use bulldozers to clear away debris

*Restore pipelines

*Hold Tsunami relief concert with Bono as headliner

      ● 3 Seismic Sensors= $45,000 ($15,000 each)

      ●   Alert system-$65,000

       ● 100 coconut trees-$10,000

       ● sand dunes along coast- $6500

       ● entire cleanup operation- 100 million dollars




Total- $100,126,500
Profits from benefit concert: 20 million dollars.


Total after concert- $98,126,500
