ELEVATOR CONTROL
SYSTEM
BASED ON ARDUINO
ABOUT US
At the University of Technology,
Electronics Department, supervision of
o Dr. Eng. Hassan Mahmoud Al-Azzawi
• Student: Hassan Qais and Tabarak
Muhammad,
• we work on developing elevators and
innovating engineering solutions.

ARCHITECTURAL
PLAN AND
ELECTRONIC
CIRCUIT
ARCHITECTURAL
PLAN
• Using CNC machine for the
• structureUsing aluminum to raise
the
• bases and the railUsing wood for
the
• bases and the carriage
5
REASONS FOR CHOOSING THE
DESIGN
• Freedom of construction in small spaces
• Ability to be easily stretched and opened
• Easy maintenance and access to the control room
• Possibility of developing the weight of the cart and
the counterweight
• Least possible cost with high quality and bearing
capacity
ELECTRONIC
CIRCUIT
• Arduino Uno
• Stepper Motor
• Driver L298N
• Push button
• 12V,5V Power Supply
OUR COMPETITION
• smooth movement on the track
• Balance loads perfectly to
accommodate the largest possible
capacity.
• Reduce engine noise and vehicle
friction
• Reduce as many components as
possible.
• Reduce energy consumption and get
the best efficiency
• Possibility of development and adding
future ideas
7
PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
• Engine noise emission
• cart friction
• counterweight
balance
• Connecting cables to
the control room
• The solution was to add a spring under the engine
and raise the support bases.
• The solution was to add a greasy substance (clay) to
the rail ends and replace them with soft plastic.
• The solution was found using the following equation:
Empty weight of the cart + half the load weight
• The base parts and passages were drilled through
the aluminum columns.
8
CONCLUSION
• We controlled it with Arduino and
made it work as we needed for
movement and the possibility of
modification in the future.We
established smooth movement and
ease of movement and
installation.Building a foundation for
implementing our ideas and
distinguishing ourselves with a
fundamental idea that serves the
community
