The brain isstructuredina waythat not one memberof mankindcancompletelyexplainthe inner
workingsof everysingle areaof the brain. Thatis because Godintricatelydesigneditandthat meansno
one inthe worldcan everknowexactlyhow Goddidthat nor whatwe do not use.We all know that we
don’tuse everypart of our brainand that isbecause of how we live andwe are not perfecton this
planet.So,we knowwe are not able to tap intoeverysingle partof ourbrain while we livethe waywe
do,but that doesn’tmeanwe cannotuse more than the 10-15% of itthat scientistsclaimwe use.Thatis
quite sadby the way because thatisn’tevenhalf of ourbrain.We are too caught up inthe natural
world,toofar away fromGod and our spiritual natures,andwe don’teatwhatwe shouldbe eating,nor
thinkthe waywe shouldbe thinking,nordowe interactina waythat caters to notonlyour ownbrains
but to otherpeople’sbrainsaswell.We are detachedfromthe powerof our ownmindsbecause we are
too attachedto whatseparatesusfrom ourown minds.Butthat can change. If you learnto cater to
your brainand discovermore of whatitcan dothenyou will elevate yourmind. So,Elevate YourMind
Tip #11 isBrain Teasers.
Now,whatdo I meanwhenI say“brain teasers”?Well,basicallyandliterallytease yourbrainand
exercise it.There are somanywayswe can do thissuchas brain games,puzzles,trivia,change,food,
attitude,bodycleansingorfasting,spiritual connection, andlearningsomethingnew.Allowme togo
overeach of these.Let’sstartwithchallengingyourbrain.Thatincludesbraingames,puzzleslike
crosswordsandany kindof triviawhere youhave to thinkhardfor answers.Challengingyourbrainwill
keepityouthful andperky.Asyouknowmanydoctorsattest to thiswhentheytell the elderlyorseniors
to use braingamesto strengthentheirbrainsandassistthemwithmemoryissues.Inaddition,itcan
helppeople whomaybe prone toAlzheimer’sordementiaorthatalreadyhave it.The brainisplasticso
evenif youhave a braindisorderitcan be correctedandhealed.The crazythingis that if youdo have a
braininjuryyouneverknowwhatyouwill be lackingbecause of it.IrememberwhenIwasincollege
and mymajor wasPsychologysoI had to studythe brainbut I diditon my ownbefore Iwentto college.
I was socuriousabout it’sinnerworkingsandstructure thatI was fascinatedbyanythingthathadto do
withlearningaboutthe brain.SoI borrowedDVD’sfroma libraryand I tooka lot of notesand I learned
a heck of a lot of informationaboutthatmuscle inourheads.I was determinedtolearnmore somy
plansare to continue learningwhatIcan so I can obtainmy Ph.D.inNeuroscience andhelppeoplewith
braindisordersorinjuries.
Anyway,while Iwasstudyingthe brainIrememberwatchingsomanyvideosaboutpeople withbrain
disordersandinjuries.Isawthisone videoabouta womanthat injuredacertainpart of herbrainso bad
that she couldno longersee abeverage beingpouredintoaglass,norcouldshe see a car move from
one spotto another.All she sawwas the cup and thenshe saw the liquidinthe cupbutshe missedit
beingpouredintothe cup.Withthe car all she saw wasa car sittinginone spot andthenthe car was in
anotherspot.She couldno longersee the car actuallymovinginthe directionof the nextspot.Itwas
the craziestthingI eversawor heard.That letme know how fragile the brainisandhow importantitis
to be verycareful and keepitintiptop shape.Ican’t imagine how terrifiedthatwomanwaswhenthe
doctor explainedtoherthatshe was missingsomethingwhenshe observedmovingobjects.She didn’t
reallyknowbecause herbrainwastellingheritwas normal andnow thatwas all she knew sohe had to
explainthattoher.AndI am sure youall know aboutthe storyof the famousPhineasGage.He worked
at a jobwhere he usedmechanical devicesthatwere dangerousif mishandledorcouldcause a major
injuryif somethingwentwrong.He hada veryupbeatandfriendlypersonalityandeveryone atworked
likedhimalot.One day he was workingandhe had a freakaccident.One of the metal tubeshe was
workingwithwentstraightthroughhisbrain.He didn’tdie. Instead,hispersonalitychanged
dramatically.Itwaslike he became adifferentperson.He wasnolongerthe friendlyandkindworkerat
work.He wasnow angryand irritatedall the time.Itwaslike he turnedfromDr. Jekyll toMr. Hyde just
like that. It wasfascinatinganddisturbingatthe same time.Ifeltforhimbecause whatcouldhe do. He
injuredanddamagedsomethinginhisbrainandthat fragile areachangedhispersonality.Thatiswhy
we have to take care of our brains.Iknow a freakaccidentcan happentoanyone at anytime but our
carelessness inthe care andupkeepof ourbrainscouldcause a freakaccident,orwe may endup ina
bad waybecause we are not takingcare of ourbrains.
So back to challengingyourbrain.Ibelievethe brainishungryforchallengesbecauseitwantsto
operate intiptop shape.Itwas designedtooperate everythinginourbodiesandthatincludesthe way
we thinkand behave.Sowhynotfeeditwhatit wants so youcan thinkbetter.Puzzlesandbraingames
challenge yourthinkingprocesses.Whenyouchallenge yourthinkingprocessesyoulearnall kindsof
differentwaystostrategize andplanandwe all needthisineverydaylife.If youhave nochallenge then
youwill be boredandgo throughthe motionsof livingwithoutbeingmesmerizedbyagreat ideaornew
methodof doingsomething.IknowthispersonallybecauseIama braingame junkie.Ilove playing
crosswordpuzzlesandtrivia,andfiguringoutpuzzlesandwordgamesorsearch andfindsomething.It
challengesme andithelpsme thinkona higherlevel of consciousness.Iamable to easilyplotanything
out to assistme inmy goals,andI get excitedwhennew ideaspopintomyheadbecause Idon’tjust
write themdownIstrategize abouthowto utilize thatidea.Italso makesme feel greataboutwhoI am
so myself-esteemisquite healthy,anditpreventsme fromfallingintolazinessbecause Iamalways
gung-hoaboutfiguringoutsome crazymindbogglingpuzzle thatrequiresdeepthinking.Itstrengthens
my brainand makesme wantto keepgoingwhenthingsgobadin life because Ithinkbetterabout
gettingoutof a bindor personal hindrance insteadof dwellingonitor allowingmyself togetdepressed
aboutit. I knowthere isalwaysa wayout of anythingevenif ittakesa longtime to getout of it. That’s
elevatingmymind.
Change isanotherway to tease yourbrainand takesyouon a grand journeyof mindelevation.WhenI
say change that meansdeliberate change because itiseasiertodeal withdeliberate change thanitisif
youhappento be uprootedsuddenly.More aboutthat ina minute.Deliberate change canbe anything
like changingyourroute towork or home,or changingthe handyou use to drive orwrite,or changing
your routine everyonce inawhile,orchangingyourhairdoor changing anythingyouare accustomedto
doingall the time.The brainperksup andgoesto work bigtime whenyoumake changesinyour
routine.Itsays,“whoa,youdon’tusuallydothat or you don’tusuallydoitthat way,I thinkI like this.”
Andthenit wakesupand looksaroundfornew thingsand somethingdifferentitdidn’tseebeforewith
your oldroutine. Ithasto learna newroutine andthat meansyouare usingmore of yourbrain. So you
have perkedupyourbrain andstrengtheneditbychallengingittodo somethingdifferent.Youjust
mightfinda newrestaurantthatyou may enduplovingif youtake a new route.Youmay getmore
complimentsif youchange yourhairdoeverynow andthenandfeel like abrandnew person.Youmay
discoverthatwritingwithyourlefthandinsteadof yourrighthandmakesyour writinglooknicer.You
may feel more alive andbetteraboutgettingupforworkif youdecide toadd somethingortake
somethingawayfromyourregularroutine.All of thatiselevatingyourmindbecauseyouare doing
somethingnewthatthe braincan nowfocuson and so somethingdifferentandextraisgoingonup
there andthat challengesyoutothinkmore anddifferently. Itislike havinganew lease onlife.
Now,if youhappento be uprootedsuddenlythatisnotdeliberate unlessyoucausedthe change.
Sometimesthingshappeninlifeandwe have nocontrol overthe outcome of that nor can we stepin
and stopthe change.So we experience somethingthatcouldthrow us off kilteranditisup to each of us
howwe handle thatchange.You can choose to allow itto upsetyouor you can choose to allow itto
make youthinkdifferentlyaboutyourcircumstance andopenadoor fora learningopportunity.The
latterchoice will elevate yourmind,the firstone will keepyoustuckandstagnant. That alsochallenges
your attitude aboutthe upsand downsof life andthe constantchange that comeswithit. If youchoose
to thinkhigherandsay “well,Ihave nocontrol over thisbut I will take itall inwitha grain of salt andjust
deal withitand learnsomethingfromitinthe process”,thenyoujustelevated yourmindand
strengthenedyourbrain.Thatsuddenchange ismakingyourbraingo towork ineithera goodwayor
bad way, and if youchoose the good wayyou are now equippingyourself todeal withandhandle
anythingthatcomesyour waywithstrengthandfortitude. Thatmeansyouhave a great attitude about
everythingandyoucanhandle crazy stuff withease andinnerpeace because youtrustthatall will work
out inthe endat the righttime forall involved.That’scalledfaithtoo.We needtouse ourbrainsand
our heartswhenitcomesto havingfaithotherwise youare onlyhalf waythere.WhatImeanis youcan
say youhave faithinGod but if you don’trememberwhatGoddidforyou inthe pastor how God has
operatedanddone miraclesandcan do a miracle foryou now, thenyou can’t have muchfaithcan you.
So youare faithful inheartandyourmindis opentothe memoryof how goodGod is.
Next,whenyoulearnnewthingsyouare buildingalibraryof informationthatyoumaybe able touse
for youradvancementorto prosperone dayin the future. I thinkif youdecide tolearnanythingnew
like aforeignlanguage orhowto cook thenitmakessense touse what youlearnedsoyouknow it
worked,andyouactuallyretainedthe informationyouspentyourvaluable time tolearn.Learning
somethingnewteasesthe brainanditalso,once again, makesyoufeel goodaboutyourself.Youcan
talkto your friendsorfamilyorevenastranger aboutwhatyou learnednow.Youcan show someone
else howtodo it. You can testit outand feel reallygoodthatyouunderstandwhatyoulearned.You
are teasingyourbrainand elevatingyourmindatthe same time.What if one day youencounter
someone ora situationthatwill needwhatyoujustlearned?Thisisagoodway to thinkhigherabout
school.Some people gotoschool because theythinktheyhave toandtheygetburnt out or bored
because theyare learningsomethingthatseemsdull ornotthatinteresting.Or,theymayhave chosena
classlike anelective inhighschool andtheygoto the class onlytorealize thattheywishtheynever
chose that elective.Well,if youaskthe above questionitcouldchange yourthinkingandgetyou
pumpedandreadyto learnaboutsomethingnew thatyoucoulduse to helpsomeone else maybe later
inlife.Whenpeopleaddcredentialslikedegreesandcertificationstotheirresumeandcareerportfolio
theyfeel awesomebecause theyjustadvancedinknowledge,andthatadvancementcouldlandthem
theirdreamjobwhich, as a result,couldbringthemmore happinessandjoyinlife.
So,what I didisI thoughtaheadabout somethingthatmaynot seemsoexcitingatfirstglance.This
mentalitykeeps people inschool andhelpsthemgetupforclasseveryday.Otherwise the dropoutrate
wouldbe throughthe roof.Not to mentionitcostsmoneyandthat meansyouneedtobe there because
youor yourparents or someone else kindspentthe moneytomake sure yougotthe educationyou
needor wanted. Thatisappreciationwhichisprettymuchelevatingyourmind. Mostpeople usually
planout theirlivesinadvance andwrite downgoalsfortheirfuture, andif learningsomethingnewisa
part of that thenthatmeanstheyhave a reasonfor that. Goingto school mindlesslyjusttogeta job
couldcause you more heartache thanyou shouldhave onlybecause youmayfeel like yourlifeisgoing
nowhere later,because youjustwenttoschool because someone toldyoutooryou got the education
because youheardit waswhat youshoulddo.If you doit mindlesslythenyoudon’thave muchof a
reasonfor doingitso yourbrain will getboredandyouwill getbored,andyoumay enduphatinglife or
the job thatcomesafter doingsomethingthatyoudidn’tthinkthrough.Iknow peoplewhodothisall
the time and theyhate Mondaymorningand I don’tthinkanyone shouldhate Mondaymorning.It’sthe
start of a brand newweekand the possibilitiesshouldbe endlessandexciting.Youare at the beginning
of a weekthatcouldopena newdoorfor you or someone elseyoumaybe servingandthatmeans
Monday morningshouldbe greetedwithopenarms,andit’sanotherdayof life blessed byagoodGod
that isalwayslookingoutforyou. So tease yourbrain withnew knowledge andyourbrainwill thank
youfor it bythinkinghigher.
Lastly,let’sdiscussbodycleansingandfasting.We eatsomuch crap because it’seasyand fastand tasty.
So,your brainsays “yes,eatthat, it’syummy,youwantthat,you don’thave time foranythingelse.”If
your braintellsyouthatit’sbecause youhave traineditto believe that.Sothatmeansyou can trainit to
believeotherwise.Howabout,“nope,don’teatthat,it’sbadfor yourbrain andyour body,and youmay
feel sluggish,Iknowittastesgoodbut come on youwon’tfeel goodaboutyourself afteryoueatit.”I
like thatone better.ThisisactuallyhowI have trainedmybrainto thinkand believe andsoIeat
accordingly.Fruitsandvegetablesandhealthy vegetarianandveganfood.Ihadto trainmy brainto
wantit because Iusedto eat meatand sometimesjunkfood.So,Ihadto talk to mybrain andtell itthat
it’sok notto have that stuff anymore because Idon’tneeditand itwon’tserve mybodyor brain later
on,and I want to take greatcare of myself soIkeepgoinguntil I’m200. Hey,I can reach 200 if I wantto.
Lol.Seriously,though,Iamserious.Butwhataboutcleansingouttoxinsandnoteatingfoodat all for a
little while?Manypeople dothisforreligiousorspiritual reasonsbutyoudon’thave to doit for either
of those reasonseventhoughif youdoendupdoingit youare feedingyourspirit.There are somany
waysyou can cleanse outthe toxinsinyourbodyand we all needtodo thisperiodicallythroughout
everyyearandthroughoutour lives.Toxinscome fromall kindsof sourcesandof course one of those
sourcesisthe foodwe choose toput inour bodies.Meatweighsyou downandcan clog yourarteries
withall the fat init whichmeansyourcardiovascularhealthwill be introuble.Youcouldendupwitha
wormin yourintestinesfromeatingmeat.Itmakesyougainexcessweightthatcouldcause youto feel
bad aboutthe way youlook.It alsostiflesthinkingbecauseit’ssoheavyandnotnecessary.The brain
doesnotneedmeatto function. Whentoxinsare releasedfromyourbodytheyare alsoreleasedfrom
your brain.Asyouprobablyknowwhenyoudrinktoomuch itcauses holesinyourbrainso youare
depletingyourbrainof necessaryfunctioningandthatmeanslowerlevelthinking. Meatcontainsso
manytoxinsthatit couldcause you to thinkunclearly.
People thinktheyhave tohave meataspart of a balanceddietbutyourdietisnot balanced,itis
imbalancedbecause once againitweighsyoudown.If yougoto the doctor andyour doctor says“well it
lookslike youare overweightoritlookslike youhave toomuch fatand you needtolose some weight,
cut out yourmeat intake.”Idon’tthinkanyone whoeatsmeatwantsto hearthat because it’slike a
drug.It caters to the feel goodhormonesinyourbrainlike adrug and sothe worldbecomesaddictedto
it because itfeelsyouup,makesyoufeel good,andsatisfiesyour hunger. Butitalsomakesyoufel bad.
Veggiescan make youfeel muchbetterbecause the nutrientsare giving youwhatyourbrainneeds.
Andveggiesandfruitsandnon-meatcanbalance yourdiet,make youfeel lighter,helpyouthinkclearly,
and eliminatetoxinsthatyoureceive fromthe environment.Iknow fora fact that youcan thinkclearer
whenyoueliminatemeatbecause ithappenedtome andI don’teverwantto go back to eatingmeat
againbecause itdidn’tmake me feel goodinside.Somanypeople wanttolose weightormaintaintheir
weightandall youhave to do iscut outmeat andeat inmoderation.Itworkslike acharm. Notonlythat
all of the nutrientsyougetfromeatingfruitsandvegetablescannotbe foundinmeat.All of those
nutrients keepyourbrainoperatingintiptopshape,helpyoufeelmentallyalert,stronger,leaner,
happier,andmore at peace.That’sbecause God intendedfruitsandvegetablesforusto eatmore than
meat.
Also,whenJesuswalkedthe Earthhe fedmanypeople withfishnotburgersandsteaks.Peopleinthe
Bible daysthoughtona higherlevelof consciousnessandthatisbecause theydidn’thave all of the
distractionswe have inourmodernworldandtheyate a lotof fruitsandvegetables.Thatiswhatis
designedforustoeat and if we train ourselvesandstayconsistentineatingthatwayall kindsof
amazingthingscan happeninyourbrain.You are teasingyourbrainto thinkbetterandthat will help
youfeel betteraboutyourself,otherpeople,whatyoumaybe goingthroughand life ingeneral.When
youbeginto change yourdietor eatinghabitsI suggeststartingwithacleanse butnot a heavyone.
Start by fastingandthat meansnofoodat all forat least24 hours. Whenyoufast regularlyyouare
doinga body,mindandspiritcleanse because there isnofoodinyouweighingyoudownandyouare
more opento spiritual discernmentandrevelationsfromGod.Itisa deprivationbutagooddeprivation
if you doit for the rightreasonsand notexcessively.Once yougetusedtojustdrinkingwaterfora short
periodof time youwon’tbe so inclinedtobe obsessedwithfoodandyoucan eliminate anyeating
disordersorjunkfoodbingesyouhadbefore.
Afteryourfast youshouldfeel cleanerandyourmindshould be clearer.Now isagreat time to grab a
bodycleanse froma healthfoodstore like Whole FoodsorLassensorSprouts,or evenVitaminShoppe.
Do some researchandask for helpif youare stuckand don’tknow whatto get. There are a tonof

Now,whatdo I meanwhenI say“brain teasers”?Well,basicallyandliterallytease yourbrainand exercise it.There are somanywayswe can do thissuchas brain games,puzzles,trivia,change,food, attitude,bodycleansingorfasting,spiritual connection, andlearningsomethingnew.Allowme togo overeach of these.Let’sstartwithchallengingyourbrain.Thatincludesbraingames,puzzleslike crosswordsandany kindof triviawhere youhave to thinkhardfor answers.Challengingyourbrainwill keepityouthful andperky.Asyouknowmanydoctorsattest to thiswhentheytell the elderlyorseniors to use braingamesto strengthentheirbrainsandassistthemwithmemoryissues.Inaddition,itcan helppeople whomaybe prone toAlzheimer’sordementiaorthatalreadyhave it.The brainisplasticso evenif youhave a braindisorderitcan be correctedandhealed.The crazythingis that if youdo have a braininjuryyouneverknowwhatyouwill be lackingbecause of it.IrememberwhenIwasincollege and mymajor wasPsychologysoI had to studythe brainbut I diditon my ownbefore Iwentto college. I was socuriousabout it’sinnerworkingsandstructure thatI was fascinatedbyanythingthathadto do withlearningaboutthe brain.SoI borrowedDVD’sfroma libraryand I tooka lot of notesand I learned a heck of a lot of informationaboutthatmuscle inourheads.I was determinedtolearnmore somy plansare to continue learningwhatIcan so I can obtainmy Ph.D.inNeuroscience andhelppeoplewith braindisordersorinjuries. Anyway,while Iwasstudyingthe brainIrememberwatchingsomanyvideosaboutpeople withbrain disordersandinjuries.Isawthisone videoabouta womanthat injuredacertainpart of herbrainso bad that she couldno longersee abeverage beingpouredintoaglass,norcouldshe see a car move from one spotto another.All she sawwas the cup and thenshe saw the liquidinthe cupbutshe missedit beingpouredintothe cup.Withthe car all she saw wasa car sittinginone spot andthenthe car was in anotherspot.She couldno longersee the car actuallymovinginthe directionof the nextspot.Itwas the craziestthingI eversawor heard.That letme know how fragile the brainisandhow importantitis to be verycareful and keepitintiptop shape.Ican’t imagine how terrifiedthatwomanwaswhenthe doctor explainedtoherthatshe was missingsomethingwhenshe observedmovingobjects.She didn’t reallyknowbecause herbrainwastellingheritwas normal andnow thatwas all she knew sohe had to explainthattoher.AndI am sure youall know aboutthe storyof the famousPhineasGage.He worked at a jobwhere he usedmechanical devicesthatwere dangerousif mishandledorcouldcause a major injuryif somethingwentwrong.He hada veryupbeatandfriendlypersonalityandeveryone atworked likedhimalot.One day he was workingandhe had a freakaccident.One of the metal tubeshe was workingwithwentstraightthroughhisbrain.He didn’tdie. Instead,hispersonalitychanged dramatically.Itwaslike he became adifferentperson.He wasnolongerthe friendlyandkindworkerat work.He wasnow angryand irritatedall the time.Itwaslike he turnedfromDr. Jekyll toMr. Hyde just
  • 3. like that. It wasfascinatinganddisturbingatthe same time.Ifeltforhimbecause whatcouldhe do. He injuredanddamagedsomethinginhisbrainandthat fragile areachangedhispersonality.Thatiswhy we have to take care of our brains.Iknow a freakaccidentcan happentoanyone at anytime but our carelessness inthe care andupkeepof ourbrainscouldcause a freakaccident,orwe may endup ina bad waybecause we are not takingcare of ourbrains. So back to challengingyourbrain.Ibelievethe brainishungryforchallengesbecauseitwantsto operate intiptop shape.Itwas designedtooperate everythinginourbodiesandthatincludesthe way we thinkand behave.Sowhynotfeeditwhatit wants so youcan thinkbetter.Puzzlesandbraingames challenge yourthinkingprocesses.Whenyouchallenge yourthinkingprocessesyoulearnall kindsof differentwaystostrategize andplanandwe all needthisineverydaylife.If youhave nochallenge then youwill be boredandgo throughthe motionsof livingwithoutbeingmesmerizedbyagreat ideaornew methodof doingsomething.IknowthispersonallybecauseIama braingame junkie.Ilove playing crosswordpuzzlesandtrivia,andfiguringoutpuzzlesandwordgamesorsearch andfindsomething.It challengesme andithelpsme thinkona higherlevel of consciousness.Iamable to easilyplotanything out to assistme inmy goals,andI get excitedwhennew ideaspopintomyheadbecause Idon’tjust write themdownIstrategize abouthowto utilize thatidea.Italso makesme feel greataboutwhoI am so myself-esteemisquite healthy,anditpreventsme fromfallingintolazinessbecause Iamalways gung-hoaboutfiguringoutsome crazymindbogglingpuzzle thatrequiresdeepthinking.Itstrengthens my brainand makesme wantto keepgoingwhenthingsgobadin life because Ithinkbetterabout gettingoutof a bindor personal hindrance insteadof dwellingonitor allowingmyself togetdepressed aboutit. I knowthere isalwaysa wayout of anythingevenif ittakesa longtime to getout of it. That’s elevatingmymind. Change isanotherway to tease yourbrainand takesyouon a grand journeyof mindelevation.WhenI say change that meansdeliberate change because itiseasiertodeal withdeliberate change thanitisif youhappento be uprootedsuddenly.More aboutthat ina minute.Deliberate change canbe anything like changingyourroute towork or home,or changingthe handyou use to drive orwrite,or changing your routine everyonce inawhile,orchangingyourhairdoor changing anythingyouare accustomedto doingall the time.The brainperksup andgoesto work bigtime whenyoumake changesinyour routine.Itsays,“whoa,youdon’tusuallydothat or you don’tusuallydoitthat way,I thinkI like this.” Andthenit wakesupand looksaroundfornew thingsand somethingdifferentitdidn’tseebeforewith your oldroutine. Ithasto learna newroutine andthat meansyouare usingmore of yourbrain. So you have perkedupyourbrain andstrengtheneditbychallengingittodo somethingdifferent.Youjust mightfinda newrestaurantthatyou may enduplovingif youtake a new route.Youmay getmore complimentsif youchange yourhairdoeverynow andthenandfeel like abrandnew person.Youmay discoverthatwritingwithyourlefthandinsteadof yourrighthandmakesyour writinglooknicer.You may feel more alive andbetteraboutgettingupforworkif youdecide toadd somethingortake somethingawayfromyourregularroutine.All of thatiselevatingyourmindbecauseyouare doing somethingnewthatthe braincan nowfocuson and so somethingdifferentandextraisgoingonup there andthat challengesyoutothinkmore anddifferently. If youchoose to thinkhigherandsay “well,Ihave nocontrol over thisbut I will take itall inwitha grain of salt andjust deal withitand learnsomethingfromitinthe process”,thenyoujustelevated yourmindand strengthenedyourbrain.Thatsuddenchange ismakingyourbraingo towork ineithera goodwayor bad way, and if youchoose the good wayyou are now equippingyourself todeal withandhandle anythingthatcomesyour waywithstrengthandfortitude. You can testit outand feel reallygoodthatyouunderstandwhatyoulearned.You are teasingyourbrainand elevatingyourmindatthe same time.What if one day youencounter someone ora situationthatwill needwhatyoujustlearned?Thisisagoodway to thinkhigherabout school.Some people gotoschool because theythinktheyhave toandtheygetburnt out or bored because theyare learningsomethingthatseemsdull ornotthatinteresting.Or,theymayhave chosena classlike anelective inhighschool andtheygoto the class onlytorealize thattheywishtheynever chose that elective.Well,if youaskthe above questionitcouldchange yourthinkingandgetyou pumpedandreadyto learnaboutsomethingnew thatyoucoulduse to helpsomeone else maybe later inlife.Whenpeopleaddcredentialslikedegreesandcertificationstotheirresumeandcareerportfolio theyfeel awesomebecause theyjustadvancedinknowledge,andthatadvancementcouldlandthem theirdreamjobwhich, as a result,couldbringthemmore happinessandjoyinlife.
