While the ancient Greek philosopher Thales is often cited as the first to observe static electricity around 600 BC, electricity as a concept was not truly discovered until later experiments. One of the first electric machines invented was Thomas Edison's light bulb in 1879. The light bulb works by transforming various energy forms - mechanical energy from a generator is converted to kinetic energy and then electrical energy by transformers to power the filament and produce light.

-Who discovered electricity?
We don’t really know who discobered
electricity, but there are some evidences
in the year 600 A.C by a Greek
philosopher called Thales de Mileto, who
discovered a strange power of attraction
and reflection when he rubbed a piece
of amber with a cloth. This porcess was
named in Greece “Elektrón”, which gives
the name fot the atomic particle Electron

It was found near the old Greek city of
Magnesia
-When was it discovered?
It was discovered in the year 600 A.C

 Which was one of the first electric
machines we invented?
One of the first electric machines we
invented was the light bulb. It was
invented by Thomas Edison in the year
1879. It is an electric light,used actually
for illuminating the night. The light bulb
consists of a filament with to vertical
wires.

machine?
The main parts of a machine are; The
generators, the motors, and finally the
transformers which changes the voltage
level of an alternating current.

7. Fourth part:
 Explain where the electrical energy of
the light bulb came from.
 The electrical energy of a light bulb is
produce depending on the matter we use
to generate it. We can use the watter as a
source of electricity(this is called
hydroelectrical energy), we can use the
wind as another source(this is called aeolic
energy.We also use uranium to produce it,
but all depends from the matter we are
going to use.

8.  Explain what energy transformations
performedthe machine:
 The energy of a light bulb comes from
the electric motor,which have
mechanical energy, then the generator
turns the mechanical energy into kinetic
energy and finaly the transformers which
cange the kinetic energy into electrical
energy.

9.  What applications did this machine
had?
 Obviously the application of the light
bulb is and was to iluminate, but what all
the inventors looked for was: A light bulb
that last for a long period of time without
consuming large quantities of energy.
