A creative report of a 3-day charrette (29-31 March, 2013) at The Gnostic Centre, to focus on Academy of the Future (a consciousness based university of tomorrow). The group focused on new modes of learning and facilitation, new structures of governance and curriculum, new forms of architecture to express the new approach to education.
By: Ajaan Mahā Boowa Ñānasampanno
Translated by: Thānissaro Bhikkhu
This collection of talks was originally given for the benefit of a lay disciple who had come to Ajaan Maha Boowa’s monastery to receive his guidance as she faced her approaching death from bone marrow cancer. These talks offer important lessons about how to learn from pain, illness and death, by seeing through to their ultimate nature and detaching the mind from the suffering associated with them.

Arahattamagga-arahattaphala: The Path to ArahantshipYapa
By: Ajaan Mahā Boowa Ñānasampanno
Translated by: Ajaan Dick Sīlaratano
Arahattamagga is a compilation of Ajaan Mahā Boowa’s Dhamma talks giving an in-depth analysis of his own path of practice. It describes the entire range of his meditation, from the beginning stages all the way to the final transcendence. We realize that such exalted attainments are not merely remnants of ancient history, dead and dry – but a living, luminous legacy of self-transcendence accessible to any individual who is willing and able to put forth the effort needed to achieve them.

How to be a modern yogi - For Yoga teachers and Yoga students and Yoga lovers.Atma yoga
Following our 4 part series on yoga through history, we come now to the point of learning what it means to be a Modern day Yogi.
A Modern Yogi is someone who:
- believes in the power of virtue (Dharma) to shift consciousness.
- thinks the happiness you seek will be found in the happiness you create for others.
- feels acts of kindness and courage triumph over self-preservation.
- knows that what we do is more important than what we think.
- is not into short cuts, but is definitely into efficiency.
- is not the body, not the mind, and not any of the roles we play.
- is a Spirit-Soul who knows everything here is play and the art of service.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

11. “ The Unseen Flower” Compassion is far more than emotion. It is something that springs Up in the emptiness which is when you yourself are not there, So that you do not know anything about it. (If they knew it, it would not be compassion); But they can only smell The scent of the Unseen Flower That blooms in the Heart of the Void
