"A mind is a terrible thing to waste” and Education Impact Family Group believes that every person should have a chance to obtain education through all available resources. A library offers the opportunity for self-motivated learning and independent knowledge-seeking for all Ghanaian citizenry. Our sole mission is to make a most positive impact on education by providing and making educational resources and materials accessible even in the remotest areas Ghana, West Africa. We have generous friends, family members and business associates in the United States of America with books, media, computers, schools aids and supplies who await our plans to transport these gifts to Ghana for our Library. Numerous Louisiana universities and public libraries have donated TONS of books and educational resources and we are NOW in the midst of raising funds to have these WONDERFUL gifts transported to Ghana. Our MAIN goal is to raise the funds to secure the MUCH-needed 40-foot cargo container for sea transport from Louisiana to the Port of Tema in Ghana.
