Blackstone Memorial Library…

• 34 reference questions answered
• 98 people using our public

• 338 visits to our website
• hosting 28 parents and children at
Miss Mary’s Stories for 2s class.
We asked our wonderful members why the library is important
to them. This is what they said…

“A quiet place to read, write, draw, and reflect. Beautiful
surroundings that inspire. A sanctuary from the hustle and
bustle of daily life.” - Jon A.
“I have spent lots of time in MANY libraries –
this one is the best – especially the personnel!
                                      – George E.
“I am in this area
often so I stop in to
 check out a book.
  Also, my church
book group reads 1
book a month - my
library is small so I
   stop in here.”

  - JoAnn H, non-
resident library user
“One of the few places that offer books/magazines in other
languages. The whole family uses it!” – Micky F.
“Books and
 Miss Mary
 programs.
   I love to
    read.”
- Jennifer W.
“Great staff;
great resource.”
  - William H.
“We attend at least 3x
per week for children’s
       programs.
We love it, and use both
 libraries in town and
   inter-library loan.”
          – C.C.
“A wonderful resource more people should utilize.”
                    - Sheri G.
“Because it is a quiet place in a
  completely noisy world.”
        - Michael D.
“Love to check
out books each
 week for my
 grandson.” –
  Bonnie S.
“It is important
because it is a great
way to access a lot of
   books without
  spending a lot.

   Also it’s a quiet
peaceful place to study
      and read.”

     - Jessica R.
“My son loves Miss
  Mary. He waits
every week to come
  to her fabulous
     program.”
   – Danielle B.
“It is my main
    source of
    literature,
   nonfiction
      books.
A place that has
  classes and
  community
events that keep
 me interested
and connected.”
   - Debra H.
“It provides an excellent environment and programs to help my
toddler improve his social capabilities.” – Xiaoling Y.
“Great supply
   of books,
 keeps me up
   to date on
literature and
    current
    events.”
- Suzanne M.
“Fantastic
programs for
toddlers led
by gifted
instructors.”
– Aaron D.
