This study analyzed the impact of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law on income tax collection in a revenue district in Nueva Ecija, Philippines, revealing gradual improvement in collection performance in 2019 compared to 2018, despite initial declines in personal income tax collections. The increased collections from mixed-income earners and the successful dissemination of information and training for tax officers contributed to the positive growth in tax revenues. Overall, the TRAIN law aimed to boost government revenues to support infrastructure and social programs, achieving notable tax collection increases post-implementation.
