This document summarizes a study that examined information security threats to digital banking. Semi-structured interviews and questionnaires were used to collect data from employees and clients of a financial institution. The findings identified four main threats: phishing, profile cloning, viruses/spam, and spyware. Both employees and clients rated phishing as the biggest threat, while spyware was seen as the smallest threat. The study concluded that financial institutions face ongoing challenges to address evolving digital banking security risks.
