CHICAGO, IL. January 15, 2012 – This year marked the 31st
Annual Chicago Music Awards coming down to Rooby
Man; Pop Reggae Artist and Legendary Reggae Artist Kenny Rox sharing a special moment; it seemed to be a
passing of the torches for the Best Reggae Entertainer of the Year. By the ceremony’s closing, Rooby Man
would covet the Award for Best Reggae Entertainer of the Year in 2011.

Annual CMA’s expressed versatility, allowing the audience to feel every
rhythm and beat of the Pop Reggae vibe. Rooby Man dedicated the Best Reggae Entertainer of the Year Award to
his native land Haiti. Rooby Man humbly accepted his award, thanking family, friends and especially his team at
Street Fame Music Group. Erik “E Dub” Edwards, CEO of Street Fame states, “This is just the beginning and a first
of many celebrations of Rooby Man’s successful future,” while commenting on an accomplished night at the 31st
Annual CMA’s. This year’s ceremony was a dedication to Health Awareness and honored many throughout the

paying homage to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on his birthday. The Chicago Music Award 2012 Lifetime
Achievement Honorees included, Thomas “Tom Tom” Washington; Legendary Arranger / Producer, The Chicago
Recording Company, William Mason; General Director Emeritus, Lyric of Chicago, the Chicago Reader
Newspaper, Willie James McPhatter; Gospel Pianist & Organist, Michael Roman; Latin Jazz Society, Bruce
Thompson; Musician / Engineer, while Miki Howard graciously accepted the Award of Honor. All of the CMA

Pop Singer and WGCI Radio, Gueroloco; Reggaeton Artist, The Country Doctors; Country and Western, Bruce
