This presentation provides instructions for safely using iPads in the classroom. It outlines five rules for iPad use, including carrying it with two hands, sitting down, gentle use, no food or drink, and returning it to its place. It demonstrates how to open apps, find the correct one, start a game, and finish. The "Learn Money" app is highlighted as an example for teaching math skills like counting coins.
2. iPad
Here are the two things we will be looking at
during this presentation.
1.How to safely use the iPad.
2. How to open an App. and use it during
center time.
3. Using the IPAD
Mrs. Assmann has spent a lot of time writing up a Grant so
we can use these AWESOME IPADS in our classroom for
learning.
Please follow ALL of the rules regarding these iPads
You may only use the iPad in our classroom, do not take
the out of our room.
4. RULES
Rule 1
You must ALWAYS carry the iPad with two (2) hands.
Rule 2
Sit down while using the iPad
Rule 3
Use the iPad gently, pushing hard on the screen will not make the
iPad go faster.
Rule 4
No eating or drinking anything by the iPad.
Rule 5
When you are finished using the iPad please put it back where
you found it.
5. Caring for the iPad
How to take care of the iPad you are using.
1.Make sure your fingers are clean while using the iPad.
2.Please gently touch the pictures to start the game.
3.If you are having a difficult time, please raise your hand
for help.

Look closely at the Apps. Find the one with the appropriate
picture on it and the correct title or name of the App.

If you see this
circle with a white
“x” in it STOP and
raise your hand for
help. This could
delete the
Application.

When your time is up please show me your score.
Follow the iPad rules and put the iPad back where it
should go.
Then go to your seat and write 2 things that you learned
while playing the game.
Put your paper in your mailbox.

Video Camera
The iPad does have a video
camera and camera built
into it. There will be times
when I will ask you to video
tape your classmates for
one of our lessons in the
future.
