PARKING
Based on the feedback that was received at the previous community meetings, DPR
and DGS filed for a no parking variance. The majority of meeting attendees have
stated that they value green space/park amenities over parking spaces.
•! The BZA voted unanimously in support of the no parking variance.
•! 26 letters filed to BZA in support of no parking
•! DDOT and Office of Planning voted in support of no parking variance
Project Team will be working with DDOT to obtain 2 ADA spaces at 3rd & Evarts as
well as pick-up and drop-off zone.
After an initial assessment by DDOT, they will accept applications/petitions for
residential parking at these locations: (please work with your ANC Commissioner):

•! 300 Block of 3rd Street, NE
•! 300 Block of Franklin Street, NE
