Denken wir also immer weniger und werden immer mehr von Empfehlungssystemen gesteuert? Ja und nein, schliesslich werden die Empfehlungssysteme hauptsächlich schlauer, weil sie von uns lernen. Dieses Referat zeigt, wie stark wir bereits von Online-Empfehlungssystemen beeinflusst und gelenkt werden, wie wir diese Blackbox sichtbar machen und wie wir ein Empfehlungssystem als Website-Betreiber zu den eigenen Gunsten nutzen können.

PURPOSE This 118 page report presents the results of a detailed scan, for the purpose of identifying the needs of stakeholders in neurodevelopmental disorders. Potential uses of this stakeholder engagement activity include i) to inform research priorities of Kids Brain Health Network (KBHN) 2018-2020; ii) to inform priorities for the strategic planning cycle for KBHN 2020-2025; and, iii) to inform decision-making regarding policies, programs and services offered, service delivery methods and approaches, and other activities of organizations external to KBHN that similarly have a focus on improving quality of life for individuals and families affected by neurodevelopmental conditions such as cerebral palsy (CP), fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) and/or autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

WINNER OF PRECIS (the Association of Public Relations Consultancies in Sweden) 2010 THESIS CONTEST. Recent development of the internet encompasses elements such as social networks, blogs and wikis. With the help of these elements, popularly gathered under the umbrella term web 2.0, the pirates supporting file sharing have made the file sharing debate a national concern in Sweden. This thesis studies the pirates’ and anti-pirates’ use of PR by qualitative case studies of organizations representing the two different sides in the debate. The use of PR by the different organizations is compared, the differences and similarities are considered and characteristics of the new PR are brought to attention. The study finds that PR is taking a new direction and that these new ways to use PR are important to achieve success in influencing opinion. The two sides use PR in very different ways where the anti-pirates use more traditional ways of PR while the pirates make use of new PR methods virtually exclusively.

The survey items emerged from a comprehensive literature review that identified 33 concepts of agility. These concepts were formulated as questionnaire items with support from already existent studies. To ensure an appropriate measurement, different scales were used, because as Tsourveloudis and Valavanis (2002) point out, the parameters affecting agility are not homogenous. In our opinion, an organization is not agile when its employees and managers ?agree? with statements describing agility or when they ?think? they are agile. Instead, it is the actions, capabilities, values, etc. of an organization that represent its agility.
