Ebol@ctu is an interactive mappingonthe situation ofthe Ebola virus
disease which will focus, first time, on the northern region of Senegal,
viewed on Ndarinfo.com. It is based on officialdata provided bythe
Ministryof Health, the northern region and medicalinstitutions inthe
fight against thedisease. Thisis a weekly edition in the beginning that
will provide all the information on thenumber of suspected casesand
cases treated and thevarious hospitalsand health servicesthat supported
them.
The objective of the project is:
• provide accuratedataon Ebola and infectious diseasesin the area north
of simpleand effectiveway through illustrations.

to raiseawareness about preventionmethods to be taken to fight against
the disease.
• laying the groundworkfor an interactive datajournalism Ebola and
infectiousdiseases in Senegalwhich is based on data from the Ministryof
Health and various institutions inthe fight against thesediseases.
Technically, the interface willrun on HTLM5, CSS3 and Javascript. She
then decline in MobileApplication form of geolocation that allows users
to have the hospitalor the nearest health facility whena suspect case is
revealed (Ebola and infectiousdiseases). It will finally be connected
connected to a hotline that will allow users to alert health authorities not
access the GPS. The latter will reach the person to collect comprehensive
informationon the locationand thesymptomsof suspected cases.
