Easter is the author's favorite holiday which celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. On Easter, the author's family dyes and colors eggs, attends church where they light candles, and has a feast at home with dyed eggs, fish, rice pilaf with raisins and red wine while singing and playing with Easter eggs. The author loves spending time with family for this special Christian holiday.

holiday. It is a

On this day
people greet
each other and
say: “Christ is
risen”, “Truly,
he is risen”.

3.  On Easter day we colour eggs red, yellow, purple, green and
orange. In the evening we go to church. There we light
candles. Then we come home and celebrate Easter.

4.  On Easter day we eat dyed eggs, fish, rice pilaf with
raisins and drink red wine. We sing and play with Easter
eggs round the table.
