E-Rate provides discounts of 20-90% on telecommunication services, internet access, and internal connections to most schools and libraries in the US based on poverty levels and location. The Frisco ISD Technology Plan has four goals: 1) develop effective technology staff training, 2) integrate technology to increase student achievement, 3) use technology to enhance instruction and administration, and 4) provide up-to-date technology capabilities and access to the community. Schools must submit annual technology plans to qualify for E-Rate discounts.
