Established in 2009, Concept Management is a leading UK provider of
electronic product reuse and recycling services. We specialise in
electronics and computer recycling and offer a fully comprehensive WEEE
disposal service for similar IT products and consumer electronics.

Our philosophy is simple - to make your electronic recovery and recycling
as straightforward and rewarding as possible.

Operating across multiple sectors, our services provide clients with a cost neutral fully accredited WEEE recycling

Recovery is the best environmental solution for electronic equipment
that contains reuseable components. Concept provides numerous
solutions and customised service programmes for all your electronic
recycling needs.

Disposal is not the answer
Computers and other electronics need to be properly handled by a responsible recycling company rather than
being sent to a waste recycling company. Disposal is not the answer. Concept feels that re-use is the best form
of recycling and works closely within the government’s guideline for cleansing data sensitive equipment and
the remarketing of it. In addition to offering the best end of life solution in the electronics recycling industry,
we maintain a team of expert technicians who maximise the value recovered from the IT assets we procure.
We believe that, whenever possible, recovery is the best environmental solution for electronic equipment that
contains reuseable components. Data custody, security and destruction are key factors when disposing of
legacy equipment. It is vitally important that assets such as hard drives can be tracked and traced prior to
wiping or secure destruction.

Computer recycling and IT disposal services

Cost neutral computer recycling and IT disposal
Concept Mangement Consulting Limited provides a robust, compliant
process that falls within current regulations and guidelines. We are one of
only a handful of Companies in the UK that are ADISA (Asset Disposal and
Information Security Alliance Industry Body ) Certified. The equipment we
pick up is Base Units, TFT’s , CRT’s , Laptops, Servers and Cabinets, Mother
Boards, Printers and faxes, Cable, Metal, Batteries, Drives, Tapes, Discs,
Telephony Equipment, Keyboards, Mice, ICT Peripherals and anything
Electronic or IT related. Please Note, this list is not exhastive as we
are here to help.

We provide a Secure Destruction Service.

We provide both On Site and Off Site Destruction Service. We have a CESG Approved Portable HDD Crusher, a
CESG Approved Portable Degausser, An 80 port HDD Wipe, Repair and Reformat Machine which wipes to
British Standard Infosec Enhanced Standard 5. This wipes to British Government ‘Top Secret’ Level. We also
have an Industrial Shredder that shreds to 20mm used to destroy Tapes and Discs.

We will provide robust, compliant reports along with Certificates of Destruction within
agreed SLA.

Client Relationship Management is all about communication. The service we offer to our clients is 100%
bespoke. We have regular internal meetings to ensure staff understand service level agreements and record
minutes for the clients.

We have a bespoke Web Based Software system that allows clients to log on to and see what equipment that
has been removed, sold and recycled, what weight, when it was picked etc. Paper based or electronic
production of waste transfer notes and Duty of Care notes are produced immediately after collection and made
available when needed.

We have a dedicated Account Manager that will offer a Single Point Focus that will improve communication
and offer speedy resolution to any issues.

In 2007, the UK introduced the WEEE Directive. The
purpose of this Directive is to reduce the amount of
electronic equipment being produced and to
encourage everyone to reuse, recycle and recover it.

Whether you are a user of electrical equipment, a producer or distributor, you have a duty to recover and safely
dispose of the equipment.

No matter what business you’re in, we have a number of solutions that can help you comply with the
legislation:

comprehensive WEEE consultancy and compliance services.

Manufacturer led recovery and disposal services

Concept Management offers a unique and leading web-enabled CRM that clients can use to see at a glance
details of all equipment, reporting and certificates.

Secure data erasure from Concept

Don’t let data leak out of your business

Data security and management is one of the greatest
concerns of many companies and computer users
when recycling their old IT, laptops and smartphones.

Every collection to be processed will be individually tracked within 2 hours of receipt at the facility.

Data carrying equipment is stored in a segregated or separate area from post process equipment. This is in a secure and physically
segregated area. There is a clear designation between the two.

Each asset will be audited to obtain full build specification.
Each asset will be tested to check functionality
Each asset will be graded to confirm physical condition

Data carrying items will undergo data destruction process using national or internationally approved products. Any data carrying
device which fails will be removed from parent machine, individually bar coded and on-site physical destruction will take place within
a controlled and documented process.

Every data carrying device which is received for end of life processing will undergo the same process regardless of any assurances
from the client that they have already destroyed the data.

There is a documented quality control process which will test a sample number of hard drives and all other data carrying assets after
the data erasure process to ensure that the data has been over written.

All equipment will undergo de-branding where asset tags and other non-relevant markings are removed. All equipment which is to
be re-used wil be cosmetically cleaned and where financially viable any missing components will be replaced to ensure maximum
opportunity of re-use. Data carrying and data safe items must be physically segregated. Opportunity for cross contamination of these
assets needs to be marginalised, and where any exist managed appropriately. The maximum length of time from the point of
collection until the point of data destruction is five working days.

The chain of custody starts before collection and is verified on receipt at the facility, and at the end of the process itself.

Each device has the chassis opened to check for unconnected data carrying media such as hard disk and full physical checks for other
storage devices made. (CD drawers etc) Loose or seperate data carrying media is individually tracked on the system and classified as a
seperate asset.
