Achilles was a Greek hero who was dipped in the river Styx as a child, making him invulnerable except for his heel. He fought in the Trojan War and killed the Trojan hero Hector after one of Achilles' friends was killed while wearing his armor. Achilles' killing of Hector led Paris to seek revenge, and Paris ultimately killed Achilles with an arrow to his vulnerable heel, ending the legendary warrior's life.
