The DURESS project has made significant progress in its first month. Field sites have been established, sampling of invertebrates, fish, and water quality has begun, and work packages are well organized. The project administrator will join the team in mid-July. Several key publications have resulted from the research and important nominations and promotions have been achieved by project members. Overall, the first month of the DURESS project has been very productive.
