Doesn’t affect Components
No reactivity with plastics and elastomers.
Like materials might swell at high temperatures
No reactivity with paints.
Useable in all metals up to 550°F.
Good in high nickel / chrome at higher temperatures. We have an
ongoing high temperature corrosion program underway to study oils in
several types of metals.
Won’t react with other types of lubricants.
(but also won’t mix with them)

Elastomer Compatibility
• There is no compatibility problem with any
elastomer or plastic for regular Krytox oils.
• The XP oils might affect some materials.
• While Krytox does not hurt them, they are still
only good to the point that they would
regularly degrade. It won’t stop them from
melting.
