Drummonds Park in Tipton County, Tennessee was developed in response to population growth and needs identified by the local elementary school and county. The master plan for the park included an amphitheater adjacent to the school for student use, a nature trail, wetlands area, frisbee golf course, playground, lighted walking trail, and soccer field. The park makes use of on-site topography and is located on a Mississippi River bluff, providing recreational opportunities for the growing community while preserving natural areas for environmental education.
