• Training and Responsibilities: Landscape design, installation and maintenance for commercial
and residential properties specializing in irrigation applications, design and installation using
current industry standards, equipment, products and techniques for new and existing landscapes.
Our mission statement is to provide professional, quality designs, installation and care to insure
maximum health and growth of your garden, lawns and landscape.
• Proper plant identification by family, genus, species and/or cultivars purchased locally or
propagated by the Company and installed utilizing techniques to achieve maximum growth
potential initiated by prevailing climate, elevation, area and zones.
• State of California pesticide applicator license. Knowledge and use of organic and biological pest
and insect control from ground cover to canopy trees. Limited control of soil and air born
pathogens.
• Knowledge and use of organic, systemic and chemical fertilizers, weed control and abatement
products and application.
• Knowledge and use of PVC, copper and steel products, fittings and adhesives.
• Knowledge and use of various brands of automatic irrigation control valves, electronic or manual
zone controllers, PRVs, pressure bells and manual water control valves. Understanding, use and
installation of complex wiring diagrams or systems for automatic valves and controllers.
• Knowledge and application of a variety if irrigation delivery products including, but not limited
to, shrub heads, impulse heads, full stream systems, drip systems, soakers, bubblers and foggers.
• Proper application and techniques of copper soldering and joining of fittings and manual or
automatic control valves to existing or new systems.
• Design and installation of garden fountains, small area ponds and streams with in-line filtration
systems.
• Installation of outdoor garden lighting and dramatic lighting for canopy trees with options of hard
wired or solar powered products.
• Knowledge, use and application of all common hand and power tools associated with general
lawn, garden and arbor care including, but not limited to, chain saws, electric or gas powered
hedgers and trimmers, hand saws, pole saws, pruning shears, electric or gas powered leaf blowers,
push type lawn mowers, self propelled lawn mowers and weed eaters. Daily or weekly scheduled
maintenance, sharpening, disinfection, cleaning and care of all hand and power tools, grass bags,
containers and protective clothing, face shields, safety glasses and hearing protection and devices.
• Maintain all pertinent license, certificates, permits, registration, and insurance in accordance with
state and local laws and keep current for all vehicles, trailers and tractors. Determine and
implement regularly scheduled service and repairs for all vehicles. Keep current and maintain all
service and repair records for each individual vehicle. Ensure that all employees operating any
vehicles are properly trained, licensed and insured according to state laws.
• Education: AAS Degree cert., Sierra College, Rocklin, CA. National Transportation Safety
Board / Federal Aviation Administration certificated Airframe & Powerplant mechanic. Graduate,
Alabama Aviation and Technology College, Ozark, AL.
