I wrote this document about 10 hours ago, because i was thinking of replacing window xp the current operating system of my laptop either with another version of window or linux.
1. I do not know how many times i reinstalled window xp, the current operating system of
my laptop. Maybe the process of reinstalling the same product to a device capable of
accessing the internet almost a hundred times because some problems from the system
are arising, conveys the message of upgrading and updating not only the softwares and
drivers but the device as well. But does upgrading a computer and other device that can
access the internet cost a huge some of money? What if window xp would not be
supported anymore by Microsoft Corp. in the year 2014 and have not upgraded yet my
laptop because i do not have sufficient fund? Should i substitute Linux Ubuntu for
Window XP since that operating system is inexpensive and does not require a product
key?
I admit i was planning to install Linux Ubuntu to my laptop and uninstall Window XP,
because i was thinking that operating system is more efficient than the one created by
Microsoft Corp. However, even if Linux Ubuntu is affordable and can be obtained free of
charge from its official website,i still have to make a purchase. I have to buy a blank dvd
which i can use in copying the iso.file of that operating system first before i decide to
install it to my laptop and i am not sure if i would be able to install Linux Ubuntu
successfully. But if i would find a version of that operating system in a store that sells
Linux products which only cost less than $30.00 either this year 2013 or next year 2014,
i would not only buy Linux Ubuntu, i would buy a new computer too, either a notebook or
a netbook.
