1. Science is defined as a body of systemized knowledge. It is compared to a tree
which has several branches. Cosmology, the study of the universe, has 2
branches; namely: Astronomy, the study of heavenly bodies and Geology, the
study of the earth. Is it not amazing the 2 branches of Cosmology have branches
too? The study of earthquake, named Seismology is one of the branches of
Geology. However, i am not sure if Meteorology , the study of weather, should
belong to Astronomy. Biology has 2 branches too, which are Zoology and Botany.
Zoology is the study of animals, while Botany deals with plants. Science is the tree
of knowledge of good and evil as well as the tree of life. What i mean to say ,
science is beneficial, if it is used for the good of the environment and fellow
mankind, destructive, if some scientific principles are misused.
Science is more helpful than destructive, only if it used responsibly by each
person. It should not be an instrument for destroying both human and animal
life, instead it should make the gift which the Lord Almighty graciously gives His
creations, more fulfilling. The study of religion is also a science and its name is
Theology. However, the words of God speak louder than any religious tenet,
meaning there is no need for the help of an exceptional theologian in order to
verify the belief in the existence of the Lord Almighty and the resurrection of the
dead. Theology should not replace the doctrines which Jesus Christ teaches,
instead it should prove their veracity. The philosophical viewpoints, deism and
atheism are contrary to the teachings of the Holy Bible.
