1. Export As Version – Downgrade up to
10.2
1) Create a workbookwithTableau10.5 betaand save the file as.TWBX
2) If a userwantsto openthe Tableau10.5 Developedfileinlowerversionpreviouslywe need
to change the xml code and openinthe lowerversionsaccordingly.
3) Nowwiththe Tableau10.5 youcan downgrade the workbooksfrom10.5 upto 10.2 Versions
Please followthe stepbystepprocess
Step1: Openthe createdworkbookinTableauDesktop10.5 Version
Step2 : Go to file  exportVersion  Selectthe versionyouwant

2. Export As Version – Downgrade up to
10.2
Note:Tableauisprovidingdowngrade feature upto10.2 onlyas of know
Step3: I SelectedExportversionto10.4 and tableauaskswhere tosave the file withversion
numberat the end
Same way I exportedthe fileupto10.2 version
Step4: Letsopenexportedversionof 10.4 file withTableau10.4 Desktop

3. Export As Version – Downgrade up to
10.2
File openedwithoutthrowingthiserror “File developedinhigherversioncan’topenthisfile”
