3.  “Traditionalists” then argue: Jesus came to
fulfill the Law and the prophets (Matt. 5:17-
20).
 Jesus came not to destroy or invalidate the
law (Lk.24:44).
 Jesus kept the law (Jno. 7:18).
 Jesus and all Jews lived under the law and He
commanded all Jews to keep the law while
they lived under it (Matt. 8:4).
 Jesus was much more than a Jewish rabbi.

4.  What About the “virgin”birth of Christ”?
 “1The book of the generation of Jesus Christ,
the son of David, the son of Abraham.
2Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob;
and Jacob begat Judas and his
brethren…18Now the birth of Jesus Christ was
on this wise: When as his mother Mary was

looking for his “virgin” birth?

 Today, if all NT Christians are already IN the
NT “church of Christ” – the NT “kingdom of
God” – how can we seek the kingdom?

6.  No one can be justified today by keeping the
law of Moses in MMLJ/BC!
 “16Knowing that a man is not justified by the
works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus
Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ,

the works of the law shall no flesh be
