Improving Stone Delivery in Wheelchair Curling
The Problem The Process
The team came to us with the problem of consistent stone
delivery. We set out to provide biomechanical findings on the
on the technique, and create a product that could help with
this. This was in terms of:
Seating Position Arm Angles Power Generation
The Product
The final solution is an air seat that allows the athlete to optimise their seating position through independent cushions. This will
allow them to generate more forward momentum and power, and lead to more consistent delivery of the curling stone.
