11. Delivery Process: (Express Mail) Day 0: Documents / packets Picked-up. Day 1: Pick-up reports provided thru e- mail or printed sheets. First attempt is done during the day. Non- delivered packets (other than House locked cases) received from the branches/ field Boys at the main Hub, in the evening. Contact request e- mailed to the consignor (during the night) for contact nos. for all the non- delivered cases as on day 1. Day 2: Second attempt (for house locked cases) is done during the day. Quality Control Dept. verifying (Tele calling) the non- delivered packets (from The MTNL data or from the information received against the contact request e- mailed on the night of day 1). QC Dept. is Re-directing/ Re- booking the packets to be delivered on day 3, during the day or in the evening as per the convenience of the customer. Non- delivered packets received from branches/ field Boys at main Hub in the evening. Contact request e- mailed to the consignor (during the night) for contact nos. for all the non- delivered cases as on day 2. Day 3: Third attempt (for non- delivered packets & re- directed & Re-Booked packets of day 2) is done during the day or in the evening (between 7.30pm to 9.30 PM), as per the convenience of the customer. Non- delivered packets received from branches at main Hub in the evening. Quality Control Dept. verifying (Tele calling) the non- delivered packets (from The MTNL data or from the information received against the contact request e- mailed on the night of day 2). QC Dept. is Re-directing/ Re- booking the packets to be delivered on day 4, during the day or in the evening as per the convenience of the customer. Day 4: Status verification of Re-directed/ Re-booked packets (of Day 1 & Day 2), done. Day 5: Finally the RTO packets are verified & sent to the consignor. Day 6: Verification of POD details is done & the complete delivery & non- delivery report sent to the customer. This is the delivery process for the documents booked under Express Mail category. However the delivery details can be provided as & when required for any document before the process gets completed.
