King Nebuchadnezzar held great power as king of Babylon, but this power came from God. Over time, Nebuchadnezzar became prideful and indifferent to God's power and prophecies. As punishment for his pride, God caused Nebuchadnezzar to live like an animal for seven years. After being humbled, Nebuchadnezzar proclaimed to his people that God is sovereign and rules over all earthly kingdoms.
The document discusses the table of shewbread from the biblical sanctuary. It describes the table as being made of acacia wood overlaid with gold, measuring 3 feet long, 18 inches wide, and 27 inches high. It had gold molding and rings at the corners for poles to carry it. The table held 12 loaves of bread that were replaced weekly and eaten by the priests. The bread represented Jesus as the bread of life who gives himself daily to those who come to him. The table symbolized Christ's throne from which he nourishes believers.
The document discusses God's appointed calendar of feasts for the Israelites that was given in Leviticus 23. It notes that these feasts were not just holidays or rituals, but times set by God to meet with His people and for specific spiritual transactions and blessings. The three main feasts discussed are Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles. The document suggests that understanding and following God's calendar of appointed times can help believers break out of cycles of destruction and into cycles of blessing in their lives.
The document discusses how God speaks to His people through the Holy Spirit. It outlines that God spoke through prophets like Moses, Samuel and Isaiah in the past. Now, God speaks through His Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit guides believers and gives them gifts like wisdom, healing and prophecy. When the Holy Spirit descended at Pentecost, the disciples were able to preach boldly and perform signs. Believers can still hear God's voice today through reading the Bible, prayer, visions and the Spirit's prompting.
The Feast of Trumpets, also known as Yom Teruah or Rosh Hashanah, is an appointed day that begins a ten-day period of repentance leading up to Yom Kippur. On this day, shofars (ram's horns) are blown in three different patterns - Tekiah, Shevarim, and Teruah - a total of 100 times, symbolizing God's call to repentance. The blowing of the shofars is meant to serve as a wake-up call and memorial before God, recalling important events in Israel's history like God providing a ram for Abraham to sacrifice instead of his son Isaac. Some traditions hold that the last trumpet mentioned in
David had a lifestyle of thanksgiving and praised God seven times a day. Because of this, God promised to defeat David's enemies and plague those who hated him. When people have a spirit of thanksgiving, it releases God's power to perform miracles in their lives. Thankfulness also brings encouragement, builds faith in others, qualifies one for more favors from God, leads to restoration, multiplication, healing, deliverance, blessings, God's glory, and can begin a new era.

The document discusses the three realms of the supernatural: faith, anointing, and glory. It states that faith is the first realm and portal to the supernatural. Faith is in the person of Jesus Christ and it is the beginning of entry into the supernatural realm. The document explores many Bible passages that discuss faith and how it is necessary to please God and receive his promises. It establishes that the realm of faith centers around believing in Jesus Christ.
This document calls Christians to walk in holiness and defines holiness as sanctity and purity. It explains that God calls us to be holy and commands us to be holy like Him. The Bible teaches that those with impure hearts cannot enter God's kingdom. The document uses Daniel as an example of someone who was committed to not defiling himself and as a result, received favor and protection from God. It provides steps to living in holiness, such as repenting, renouncing sin, and resisting temptation.
The document provides an overview of the biblical tabernacle and its significance. It notes that approximately 50 chapters of the Bible concern the tabernacle, which was God's dwelling place among the Israelites and a representation of his desire to restore relationship with humanity. The tabernacle foreshadowed Jesus Christ tabernacling or dwelling among humanity. It also points to God's future dwelling with believers in the New Jerusalem.
The document provides an overview and commentary on the readings for the upcoming Sunday liturgy. It summarizes the first reading from Wisdom 9:13-18a which discusses how humans cannot know or understand God's counsel due to our limited intellects and concerns. It then summarizes the response Psalm 90 which reflects on the brevity of human life and calls on God for wisdom and kindness. Finally, it summarizes the second reading from Philemon 9-10,13-17 which discusses Paul urging Philemon to welcome back Onesimus, his runaway slave, now as a brother in Christ.
The document discusses chapter six of the book of Revelation, which describes the seven seals. It analyzes the symbolism of the four horsemen and the first six seals, and draws parallels between the descriptions and passages from the books of Zechariah, Matthew, and Luke that prophesied the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. The document argues that the sixth chapter of Revelation can only have been written before 70 AD due to the strong correspondences between the seals and Jesus's prophecies about the fall of Jerusalem.

This document provides guidance for sharing the gospel with someone who is spiritually unaware or seeking. It outlines seven steps: 1) focus your heart on Christ; 2) pray for opportunities and passion to share faith; 3) share your testimony and life; 4) ask about their beliefs and answer questions respectfully; 5) share the core truths of the gospel; 6) pray for God to work in their heart; 7) respect their choice to accept or reject and continue showing Christ through actions. The goal is to help people know Christ and become disciples who make disciples.
Before Christ came into our lives, we were children of darkness. But even as God is light, and Christ is the light of the world, so also are we are children of light. As such, we ought to walk in the light and behave in a manner consistent with our calling. Wake up oh Christian and let your light shine.
This document provides an overview of the prophetic atmosphere from a training session on prophetic ministry. It discusses the prophetic atmosphere as a spiritual environment influenced by things within it, like spirit, words, and energy. It also notes other influences like people, Satan, and time. The prophetic atmosphere is described as the climate of God's kingdom, with its own tone and principles. The document encourages learning to function in the prophetic atmosphere, like a baby learns to live in the world. It defines what it means to be prophetic and notes that believers contain prophecy through Jesus and God's word. The soul is described as an invisible atmosphere that influences who we are. The conclusion encourages reading assigned chapters for homework.

This document discusses how Christians should live in light of the imminent return of Jesus Christ. It examines different views on the rapture and tribulation period. The key points are:
1. Every generation of Christians believed Jesus was coming during their lifetime, based on signs in the Bible.
2. The document reviews passages suggesting the rapture occurs mid-tribulation or post-tribulation, not pre-tribulation as many believe.
3. Based on Jesus' teachings, Christians should live in constant readiness for His return, providing for others and making prudent preparations, rather than ignoring the signs of the times. How Christians live should reflect their eagerness to see Him.
The document discusses life, death, and resurrection according to Christian teachings. It covers topics like why humans die, what happens to the soul after death, the purpose of life being preparation for eternity, and different views on the afterlife. The key points are:
1) Humans die because sin introduced death, but God promises resurrection for believers who will live eternally with Him.
2) When the body dies, the soul and spirit depart to be with God in paradise until the final resurrection.
3) The ultimate purpose of life is preparation for eternity, with this life being brief compared to eternal life after death.
Brief discussion about the Third Heaven. Who are in the Third Heaven. Ministry of angels. Our place in heaven.

Hebrews 9:8-11 the Holy Spirit this signifying, that the way into the holy place hath not yet been made manifest, while the first tabernacle is yet standing; 9 which is a figure for the time present; according to which are offered both gifts and sacrifices that cannot, as touching the conscience, make the worshipper perfect, 10 being only (with meats and drinks and divers washings) carnal ordinances, imposed until a time of reformation. 11 But Christ having come a high priest of the good things to come, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation,
The document discusses war and its impact on different kingdoms. It mentions enlisting in war and the invisible war against evil rulers and authorities. It talks about tools and weapons for fighting in this war, including the Bible and the blood of Jesus. Memory verses and scripture are provided related to spiritual warfare.
In Psalm 82, God (Elohim, singular) stands in the divine assembly of elohim (plural)– lesser, created, divine/spiritual beings. At least some of these elohim are condemned by God for not exercising justice when governing the nations. They were supposed to govern justly concerning the poor, needy, fatherless, powerless – but they didn’t do their job. Therefore God says these disobedient elohim will die like mortals. Then the Psalmist prays that the LORD manifests His justice over all the nations – for they’re all, ultimately, the LORD’s inheritance.

This document provides information about a lecture and workshop on the shofar, a ram's horn instrument used in Jewish religious ceremonies. It discusses the significance of the shofar and its prophetic message, with sections covering prayers said before blowing it, the different types of sounds it makes (tekiyah, shevarim, teruah), who blows it, where and when it is blown, why it is blown, what happens neurologically when hearing it, and anointings released by its blowing. The document suggests the shofar's sounding can bring down strongholds and prepare for God's return, and that blowing it corporately draws strength from unity.
This document discusses angels and angelology from a systematic theology perspective. It covers the origin of angels as created spiritual beings, titles of angels like archangels and cherubim, names of specific angels like Michael and Gabriel, the nature of angels as genderless and powerful, the purpose of angels to serve and glorify God, and the theological basis for believing in angels. It also examines passages in Isaiah referring to Lucifer and discusses whether Lucifer and Satan are the same figure or distinct beings.
The document is a sermon on Hebrews 1 that makes the following main points:
1) Hebrews 1 establishes Jesus as superior to angels, showing through 7 descriptions and Old Testament quotes that he is God's Son and heir.
2) Angels are powerful spiritual beings that serve God and humanity, but Jesus vastly outranks them.
3) The sermon encourages focusing worship and faith on Jesus as the fulfillment of God's revelation and means of salvation.
1) The document examines Hebrews 1, which discusses Jesus's superiority to angels as the Son of God.
2) It provides 7 descriptions of Jesus from Hebrews 1 that show His deity, including being the heir of all things and sustaining all things by His powerful word.
3) The document uses a chain of 7 Old Testament quotes to demonstrate Jesus's superiority to angels through a Christ-centered interpretation of scripture.
Zephaniah prophesied in Judah during the reign of King Josiah around 635-625 BC. He proclaimed coming judgment on Judah for their idolatry and sins, referring to "the day of the Lord" where God will punish the nations. Zephaniah called the people to repentance and to seek God before this coming judgment. The sermon focused on defining and identifying idols, showing how idolatry was at the root of Judah's sins. It encouraged examining personal idols and seeking God alone to be hidden from his coming wrath.
The document discusses theories about the implied second heaven and the fall of Satan based on passages from the Bible.
In 3 sentences:
1) The Bible does not explicitly mention a second heaven, but some passages imply there is a heaven between the first and third heavens where evil spirits reside.
2) There are theories that Satan fell from heaven prior to the events in Genesis 1-2, possibly causing catastrophic damage to the original earth mentioned in Genesis 1:1.
3) This fall from heaven is speculated to have been similar to an asteroid impact that suddenly destroyed much of the earth's prehistorical life and ecosystems.

The picturesque city of Mevaseret Zion is located just outside Jerusalem. It straddles both sides of the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv highway and has the highest per capita wealth in the Jerusalem district. A group of school boys were photographed reciting the Shema prayer at the Western Wall in Jerusalem. The Shema contains the fundamental Jewish declaration of faith and is recited twice daily by observant Jews.
This document discusses the prophetic flow and prophetic realms. It explains that there are 5 kingdoms represented by different metals in Daniel chapter 2. It encourages getting into the prophetic flow by connecting with strong prophetic ministers and moving in prophetic gifts like music, singing, dancing and prophecy. It also discusses understanding the 5-fold ministry and developing a personal prophetic atmosphere through creating a hunger for God's presence.
El Shaddai. (LORD GOD ALMIGHTY)
This document provides an overview of the prophetic names of God seminar being held. It discusses the meaning and importance of God's names in Scripture. Specifically, it covers the name "El Shaddai" meaning God Almighty, explaining that El refers to God and Shaddai denotes one who nourishes and supplies all needs. Key verses and occurrences of this name in Genesis are presented. Instructions are given on studying God's names, applying promises, and using names prophetically. The name "El Roi" meaning God who sees is also briefly explained from its use in Genesis.
The Backstory: giants, demons, spiritual warfare, and APEST Part 3Tim Catchim
In this presentation we will cover how the mystery of Christ, the principalities and powers, and spiritual warfare are tied in with APEST, and how we can respond.
Study 1 of "Bible Basics", a Bible study manual available as a free hard copy and also online from www.biblebasicsonline.com .
This study looks at God- His nature and character, His Name [is it Yahweh or Jehovah and does it matter], and also studies the Angels. Do we have guardian Angels, can angels sin etc.
The document uses the metaphor of a jigsaw puzzle to illustrate how seeing the "big picture" of God's kingdom can bring purpose and direction to one's learning and work, whereas focusing only on individual pieces leads to confusion; it encourages viewing all of life through the lens of advancing God's kingdom and finding significance in contributing to something larger.
This document provides an overview of the Kingdom of God. It defines the Kingdom as Christ's spiritual domain and explains that seeking the Kingdom means aligning with God's thinking and values through repentance and the new birth. It also discusses that the Kingdom exists in the eternal realm, and that transitioning to life in the Kingdom requires training the mind to conform to Christ's image through faith and living by eternal principles rather than temporal systems. The Kingdom first mandate calls Christians to influence the seven mountains of society through their Kingdom citizenship.
The document discusses the authority that Satan and his demons have over sinners and saints. It examines Satan's names in Hebrew and Greek which mean "adversary", "accuser", and "devil". While Satan and his demons can influence and tempt people, their power is limited and not omnipotent. The document asserts that through Christ's death, he destroyed Satan's power over death. It encourages believers to stand firm in faith against Satan's schemes by putting on the full armor of God.
The document provides various facts about the Bible and Christianity. It discusses how the Bible was written over 1600 years by 40 men inspired by the Holy Spirit. It also mentions that Jesus is hinted at in the Old Testament but revealed in the New Testament. Additionally, it notes some key figures from the Bible like Jesus, Moses, Noah, John the Baptist, and Jesus' family members. The document aims to convey assorted details from the Bible in a concise manner.
The document contains a collection of facts, quotes, and passages about the Bible. Some of the key points summarized are:
- The Bible has been translated into more languages than any other book and about 50 Bibles are sold every minute.
- Various figures are mentioned such as Abraham being the first Hebrew, Solomon being the wisest man, and Goliath being the tallest at over 9 feet.
- The number 40 is significant as it introduces something new, such as the flood lasting 40 days.
- Quotes emphasize the power and truth of God's word in the Bible from changing lives to revealing humanity's origin and destiny.
The document discusses key facts about the Bible:
- The Bible, specifically daily reading and meditation on scripture, provides guidance for living rightly.
- It is the best-selling book of all time and was the first book ever printed.
- The central theme is God's redemption of mankind through Jesus Christ.
- The Bible consists of the Old and New Testaments and has been distributed annually in the tens of millions worldwide.
The document provides a high-level overview of the contents and structure of the Bible in 11 points, covering major people, events, and time periods throughout the Old and New Testaments. It also includes some brief statistics about the Bible such as the number of authors, languages it was written in, total copies printed, and timeline of when it was written.
This document provides various facts about the Bible, including that it took 1,600 years to write, is comprised of many genres, and has been translated into over 1,200 languages. It also shares several quotes about the importance and power of studying the Bible, such as how it satisfies and builds an appetite for more, and is the greatest of books. Additionally, it lists some Bible statistics like the number of promises, predictions, and books/chapters.
The document discusses the problem of biblical illiteracy among Christians in the US. It provides numerous statistics that show most Christians lack basic knowledge about the Bible, including being unable to name the first five books or identify disciples. The lack of biblical knowledge is attributed to churches that marginalize Bible teaching and Christians not regularly reading the Bible. This biblical illiteracy hinders church growth and Christians' ability to share their faith with others from the Bible.

The document discusses Yeshua's conversation with the Samaritan woman, in which he offers her "living water." It explains that true worship is spiritual in nature and grounded in truth, and that God seeks true worshippers who worship him in spirit and in truth. The living water refers to the Holy Spirit, which satisfies the soul's thirst and brings life, virtues, and cleansing. Drinking this living water leads to renewal, refreshed faith, and sharing the gospel with others.
This document summarizes a sermon based on the biblical story of Jesus appearing to two disciples on the road to Emmaus after his resurrection. The three key points are:
1) Jesus meets the two disciples in their despair and opens their eyes to recognizing him when he breaks bread with them.
2) It is through our "burning hearts" rather than just our minds that we come to recognize Jesus, as the disciples' hearts burned within them as Jesus taught them from scripture.
3) The disciples then hurried to Jerusalem to tell the other disciples that Jesus is alive, as evidenced by his appearance to them on the road.
The document tells the story of Jesus being crucified and forced to carry his cross. Simon of Cyrene was compelled to carry the cross for Jesus after he became exhausted. The passage encourages readers that just as Simon helped Jesus carry his cross, everyone has a cross to bear and should help others with theirs. It suggests the most important thing is helping others with their burdens, as Jesus bids us to follow him and not let him bear the cross alone.
2. The Divine Council
• A symbolic ruling body consisting of God as the
supreme monarch and various supernatural
attendants.
• Working through innumerable hosts of angelic
servants, God creates and rules the physical
universe, as well as the world of men.
• The Council of YHVH is responsible for
maintaining order in creation especially earth
and Israel.
3. YHWH the Judge
• makes judicial decisions about
the activities of its occupants.
• initiates punitive actions
against those forces (divine or
human) which cause chaos
and disorder(i.e. sin),
• restores tsedaqah
(righteousness) and shalom
(wholeness, peace).
4. Angelic Host
• Serve YHWH in each of his corresponding offices.
• The King’s royal throne-room
– praise their King and act as his official counselors, courtiers, and
messengers.
• The Judge’s court
– Act as witnesses, investigating detectives, bailiffs, and perhaps
fellow judges.
• The Warrior vast army
– wage war on evil beings
5. Monotheism - Majesty of Yahweh
• Yahweh is a unique God, but He is not alone
• The Divine council did not threaten the position of YHVH
(Deut 10:17),
• The conception of a host of angels or heavenly beings
surrounding Yahweh is always present in Israel. . . .
• People could not conceive Yahweh in another fashion. . .
• Far from clashing with monotheism this conception
shows the Majesty of Yahweh.
6. Monotheism - Majesty of Yahweh
God has taken his place in the divine council; In
the midst of the gods he holds judgment . . I say,
“You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you.”
(Ps 82:1, 6)
7. Who are the Divine Council Members?
• Many names occur in the book of Psalms, in Job
• the beings do not have regularly prescribed titles at all;
the titles change.
• In other words, as the beings serve different functions
they are titled accordingly.
• a messenger could also be a soldier in YHVHs army or a
minister in the temple

10. Monotheism - Majesty of Yahweh
• Your wonders, O LORD, are praised by the
heavens, Your faithfulness, too, in the assembly
of holy beings. For who in the skies can equal
the LORD, can compare with the LORD among
the divine beings, A God greatly dreaded in the
council of holy beings, Held in awe by all

11. Monotheism - Majesty of Yahweh
• The LORD has established his throne in the
