ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF

amplified
■ Don’t be afraid to ask for the
things you need to grow
@rhealitycheck
INCLUSION
@rhealitycheck
RETAINING DIVERSE TALENT (PART 1)
■ Inclusion of all team members
leads to more learning which
leads to better team members
■ Show junior team members it’s
ok to ask questions
■ Sharing knowledge leads to
team growth
@rhealitycheck
RETAINING DIVERSE TALENT (PART 2)
■ Inclusion allows your team members to bring their whole self to
work
■ Understanding that people with different backgrounds may not
feel safe to present parts of themselves is not enough
■ Demonstrating that you are listening and hearing what they are
saying can build trust needed to present their whole selves
@rhealitycheck
REVIEW
Being inclusive helps find and support people from diverse
backgrounds and advocating for their success empowers
team members to contribute to their fullest.
Also I couldn’t resist
including a cat gif
@rhealitycheck
Remember to listen, hear and
ask your team members what
they want.
Lastly, raise your own awareness
whenever possible.
