2. Our Concept
The Elevator Pitch:
A dystopian future where the world is on the brink of
collapse due to the effects of climate change and a
young women is left to her own devices to find her
missing sister.

3. The Context
2097 – The accelerated effects of Climate Change have
almost eradicated the entire population of earth
leaving only China, Western Europe and Central
America as functioning states. Law Enforcement and
Healthcare are now a thing of the past due to collapse
of the economy and the rest of humanity are now
waiting for a miracle as the sea levels continue to rise
and the carbon dioxide concentration continues to
float up.

4. The Scene
 Protagonist on way to get supplies ahead of




anticipated storm.
Protagonist leaves younger sister for a brief moment,
trusting her to stay safe.
Storm approaching fast and immediate curfew put in
effect.
Protagonist can’t find her younger sister goes
searching in the midst of the ensuing chaos.
Protagonist left to her own devices as she discovers
nobody can help her.

5. Where we intend to shoot our sequence
We intend to use a number of basic locations for our
film sequence and help create a futuristic setting using
a number of props and miniature sets.
 Around half of our sequence will take place in a busy
and hectic supermarket and we believe Morrison's is
the ideal spot however maybe a church for Sam.
 The other half will be set in a busy and worn
shopping district in which we will use Reigate high
street.
 Any external shots will be created using miniatures
or stock footage.

6. The Characters
Our sequence involves mainly one principal character
and the protagonist of the film. We will also need a
young girl for a short sequence and a number of extras.
 Amy – A strong-willed, caring but naïve woman who
goes on a physical quest to track her sister whilst also
going on a discovery of a world which is slowly
destroying itself.
 Fe – The young sister of Amy.
 SaD MK12 – A street marshal cyborg and the lone
law enforcement officer.

7. Production Value
In our sequence we will make great use of a number of
props and try to create an authentic futuristic setting
through the costume design, make-up and camera
techniques.

 Futuristic radio
