‘In my current role I work with leaders and key
decision markers within the Healthcare sector,
including Surgical Directors of hospitals and expert
Clinicians.
Being part of my profession provides me with
the opportunity to contribute towards the
development of the best health care services and
technologies available. I conduct research into new
surgical procedures and technologies for decision
makers in the Australian Health Care System,
enabling me to make a difference to health care
outcomes for all Australians.
I have always been fascinated and captivated
by the human body; its complex anatomy and
physiology. Analysing and critiquing information is
an activity I enjoy and is central to my current role.
Communication, both written and verbal is a skill I
have taken pride in developing and is essential for
success within my profession.
As a progressive university, UniSA provided a
positive learning environment with immense
professional and academic opportunities. A
Bachelor of Science degree at UniSA provided
me with the flexibility to follow my passions and
develop independent learning skills. In addition,

Given the broad nature of the
scientific field, employment
prospects for science graduates
are extensive. Graduates may
find work in research and
development positions in private
or government laboratories, the
medical and pharmaceutical
industries, manufacturing,
environmental management,
the food and beverage industry,
oil and mining industries,
information technology,
defence science, meteorology,
or banking, management
and finance industries.

this program is designed to

Entry to the one year Honours
