Dimenco Displays is a subsidiary of Dimenco focused on commercializing glasses-free 3D display solutions. It was founded in 2010 in the Netherlands as a spin-off from Philips Electronics. Dimenco Displays markets and sells glasses-free 3D displays globally across multiple industries like digital signage, medical, and education. 3. Dimenco Displays, founded in Veldhoven, The Netherlands, in June 2010 , is a
subsidiary of the leading 3D display technology company Dimenco, a spin-off
from Philips Electronics. Dimenco Displays is a globally operating sales and
marketing organization with a prime focus on commercializing Glasses-Free 3D
solutions. The commercialization of Glasses-Free 3D was previously the focus
of Philips 3D Solutions until that effort ended in 2009.
During the previous decade, Philips created the most extensive Glasses-Free 3D
patent portfolio in the world.

5. The magic of 3D effects becomes feasible by placing a lenticular lens over an LCD, so that the projected light
of the LCD is transmitted in different directions. As a consequence, your right and left eyes see different images
on the display. These images are fused by the brain into a 3D perception without the need of any special glasses.
Enabled by Dimenco’s 3D technology, viewers can sit anywhere in a room to see a customizable and comfortable 3D
image with a look- around-effect.

through the establishment of powerful partners in the international 3D field and exhibiting at the leading trade
shows and conferences. Dimenco Displays vigorously strives to expand its market reach and penetration by
exploring new growth opportunities across multiple disciplines.
COVENT GARDEN CHRISTMAS EVENT, LONDON
In December 2012, Dimenco Displays partnered with Balfour and
installed four 55” Glasses-Free 3D displays at London’s most well-
known shopping mall Covent Garden. “Big is beautiful” shaped the
Christmas theme and created a memorable 3D experience for
customers.
ALITALIA LOUNGE IN FIUMICIONO AIRPORT , ROME
In March 2013, Dimenco Displays installed a video wall composed of four 50” 4K
Glasses-Free displays in the new Alitalia lounge “Dolce Vita” at Fiumicino airport in
Rome, Italy. This project was executed in close collabiration with Philips Signage
Solutions. Passengers now enjoy spending time at the airport captivated by the
aviation scenes flying off the screens.

11. CHUO UNIVERSITY KORAKUEN CAMPUS, TOKYO
In September 2013, Dimenco Displays and NGC launched a video wall
consists of six (3 horizontal x 2 vertical) 50” 4K displays at Chuo University
in Tokyo. The enormous video wall created 12K resolution with amazing
and unique 3D experience for the spectators.
SOUTH KOREAN GOLF CLUBS
In May 2013, Dimenco Displays launched the world’s largest network
of 50” 4K Glasses-Free 3D display in collaboration with 3D Factory in
South Korea. A combination of high quality, immersive, golf-related
3D advertisements as well as relevant and up-to-date information in
2D are centrally broadcast to golf clubs throughout the country.
