This summary describes the story of Rachel, a 7-year-old girl who loves the color yellow. In her dream, Rachel paints her ducks different colors but later realizes she shouldn't have done that. Throughout her dream, Rachel encounters strange occurrences with talking and human-sized ducks. She wakes up in an amusement park, relieved to discover it was all just a dream.

2. This little girl is Rachel. She is seven years old.
Yellow is her favourite colour. And she loves ducks so much.
She has five ducks in their house’s garden.
And, she has a yellow umbrella; she uses it even when there is no rain.

3. She does not like school,
but she still goes to school everyday because the school bus is yellow.
When she sees something yellow, she becomes happy .

4. She wants a yellow bicycle with two wheels, but her mother says ‘‘ You
are not old enough to drive a bicycle with two wheels’’.

5. But, she never loses
her hope.
She believes that she
will have a yellow
bicycle with two
wheels soonish.

6. One day, while she
is watching TV, she
sees some painted
chicks.
They are pink,
yellow, orange, and
green. They all
together seem so
beautiful.
She feels great while
she is looking at
them.

7. Suddenly, she says ‘‘I have an idea!’’

8. She goes to her room, and closes the door because she does not want
her mother to see her.
She starts to look at her paints, and she finds them finally. She feels
tired, but also happy.

9. Then, she goes to nest of the ducks in the garden.
She lets ducks out, and paints them.
Now, she has pink, blue, green, and yellow ducks.

10. Rachel’s mother sees the ducks, and says to Rachel ‘‘Painting ducks
may annoy them. Let’s go to the lake and see how ducks are happy
with their natural colour.

11. When they come to the lake,
Rachel looks at the ducks,
and feels sorry for painting
her ducks.
She says ‘‘I am never going
to paint any animal
anymore.’’

12. Rachel and her mother come back to home.
Rachel’s mother wears her yellow dress, and goes to kitchen to make
a chocolate cake for her daughter.
Rachel loves chocolate cake so much.

13. While her mother is making the cake, Rachel decides to go to the
garden and talk with the daisies.
These daisies know so much about Rachel because She tells
everything about herself to these daisies.

14. While Rachel is talking with daisies , she hears a voice saying
‘‘Please, help me! I am just a little duck, and I am not strong
enough to climb.’’
Rachel looks at the duck, and becomes shocked because she
knows that ducks can not speak.

15. Rachel runs to home to find her mother, but she is not in the kitchen.
She wants to talk about the speaking duck to her mother,
While she is trying to find her mother, she sees three ducks in the
human dimension.
She freezes up! And continues to look for her mother in the house.

16. Rachel goes to the bathroom and opens the door.
She can not take one more step because there are a lot of ducks
swimming in the bathroom.
She starts to think that she is going mad.

17. Suddenly, she feels dizzy and passes out!

18. When she comes to herself and opens her eyes, she sees some
people rounding above her. She understands that she is in an
amusement park.

19. She is just turning her head to the left, her mother’s hand appears
with a rubber duck.
Her mother says ‘‘You are awake finally. Did you sleep well?’’
Rachel understands that it was just a dream. She smiles and closes
her eyes again to see another dream. 
