2. Adobe Photoshop In this first session we were shown how to use the basics of Adobe Photoshop. From a hand drawn figure we were able to scan it in and use fabrics (also scanned in) to then put these fabrics over the image so that we can create a character to a theme of our choosing. This will become very useful in the future as I personally am not the greatest drawer and therefore can use this method to create my character drawings. By using different materials we can really create any character that we desire from just a basic outline drawing

3. Adobe Photoshop Here in Adobe once again we were shown how to use these skills not only to create characters but to make scene drawings. For the same reasons this will become very useful and will save time when trying to make a realistic set design. This programme allows for perspective and (if you find the perfect props) a very realistic set design. This here on the left is an attempt at a set design for “The Birthday party” it is missing a few characters but gives the right impression of the scene I wish to create.

4. Auto Cad Measurements Above are the objects that we were instructed to design on Auto-Cad, luckily I have used this programme before for quick and easy designing and precision cutting of objects used in previous projects. We were asked to made simple objects such as squares (some with rounded or cut edges) a cross and finally a precise and accurate drawing of a Floppy Disc

5. 3D Studio Max 3D Studio Max shown here on the left allowed me to draw much more technical drawing in 3D. Here I was able to create a floor and on it a table with condiments, such as a bowl, wine bottle and glass. Although not fully completed the programme will allow me to input 3D objects into other programmes such as Adobe Photoshop to create our set designs.
