This document outlines the user experience design concept for a digital library. It includes specifications for layout size, book grid, fonts, color palettes, and icons. The layout has a maximum width of 1920 pixels and minimum width of 1170 pixels in the content area. Books are arranged in a grid of 6 horizontally and 4 vertically. Font styles include Alfa Slab One for headings, and Open Sans for navigation and body text. Three color palette options are provided to establish the application's theme. Icons will use Font Awesome.

Google Font
A contemporary take on the Six-lines Pica Egyptian created by Robert Thorne for
the Thorowgood Foundry in 1921. Although initially based on that model, Alfa Slab
One was designed with an extreme stem weight, big serifs, more stem contrast
and gradual terminals with a single serif. All this attributes give Alfa Slab One a
contemporary look with extreme black density.

Open Sans is a humanist sans serif typeface designed by Steve Matteson, Type
Director of Ascender Corp. This version contains the complete 897 character set,
which includes the standard ISO Latin 1, Latin CE, Greek and Cyrillic character sets.
Open Sans was designed with an upright stress, open forms and a neutral, yet
friendly appearance. It was optimized for print, web, and mobile interfaces, and
has excellent legibility characteristics in its letterforms.
