- 1. Digital Imaging For this assignment I wanted to create something with a powerful message that could go further than education. I chose the bald eagle because that within itself is one of the more polarizing figures of our nation and is associated with the freedom to make your own choices. After placing the image in GIMP I enhanced its size and added the text to the image. I also enhanced the font size to make the text easier to read, while also changing the color of the font to bring attention to the main idea: SUCCESS. The image itself was already fairly clean and didn’t need much other work. I did attempt to blur the background of the water to bring more attention to the text and the eagle itself.
