• started during the Middle ages in the rule of French
leader Louis XIV to impress guests
• “Napkins” are also known as “face towels” or
“serviettes”, and are most commonly manufactured
white, as the color symbolizes cleanliness and
gives a fresh feel.
The importance of table napkin and its
uses is to add more elegance and
classy to the table set up. The uses are
to “ catch crumbs”, “wipes our mouth”,
“ prevents from coughs and sneeze”
and lastly is to pause or end the meal”.

ACTIVITY 2
The teacher will group the students into three. Each group will
do the activity namely:
1.“Origami” In group 1 you make one basic napkin folding
design using paper. Each fold of the paper you will write the
steps.
2.“FOLDS, Appreciate me!” In group 2 you will make a
collaborative explanation about the importance of Napkin
folding and its uses.
3.“I FOLD YEAHHHH!” In group three you will demonstrate
one of the napkin folding with step by step procedure.
