The compilation aims to showcase both classic 1980s Japanese music as well as recent electronic scenes in Tokyo by combining music and film. It will be released on November 7, 2007 at a price of 2900 yen worldwide.
Music videos began as short films that accompanied songs in the 1920s-1950s to provide a visual element. They became more common in the 1960s with films like A Hard Day's Night and helped promote singles on shows like Top of the Pops in the UK. The first music video aired on MTV in 1981, "Video Killed the Radio Star" by The Buggles, which helped popularize the format. Today, music videos are a major promotional tool for songs but are sometimes watched without sound for their visual qualities alone, focusing more on artists' appearances over musical talent.
House music originated in Chicago in the early 1980s, developing from disco music played in clubs like the Warehouse. Key early artists included Frankie Knuckles. Popular modern house artists are Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, and Tiësto. There are awards like the Grammys that recognize achievements in house music. House is characterized by pumping basslines, synth leads, and chunky beats that build up to a bass drop and then resume the fast pace. The clothing of house DJs is casual as they are not the primary focus in dark clubs.
This document provides information about several upcoming music events:

2) A new party called "IN TIME" is coming to London for the winter featuring three resident DJs and international guest DJs each time.
3) A compilation from ADE 2015 features tracks from Elio Riso, Horatio, Andrea Perini and others.
4) Ministry of Sound is putting on a student-focused series called Society featuring underground house and bass artists.
