communicative
approach is based
on the idea that
learning languague
successfully comes
throungh having to
communicative
real meaning

What is the theory of
the languague?
PRINCIPALS OF LANGUAGUES
• Students need to have contact with the
foreign language, teachers use multimedia
resources like: TV, DVDs, video and audio
tapes, radio, online to achieve a maximum
exposure.
1st The
declarative input
principle:
• Tasks help to get the interlocutor’s
help in comprehending input, and
receive feedback on their
language production.
2nd The
controlled
practice principle:
• The grammar teaching is related
with contexts and through
communicative tasks.
3rd The focus on
form principle:
• communicative practice should
always have a specific formal or
functional focus, and should
always be associated with target
phrases to practice.
4th The focused
interaction
principle
• grammar points like; fixed
expressions, idioms, set phrases,
collocations that will be put in
practice into the communication.
5th The
formulaic
language
principle:
• learners need to be active
producers of language; they
should be encouraged to express
their own meanings in order to
apply their capacities and skills.
6th Promote
Learning by
Doing:
• Feedback has two different ways:
• Positive: when teachers agree and
demonstrate this behavior showing
understanding.
• Negative: when errors need correction.
7th Provide Error
Corrective
Feedback:
• motivation makes progresses and
approaches to the students with their
goals.
• Anxiety and other negative factors delay
the learning of a second language.
8th Recognize
and Respect
Affective Factors
of Learning:

  • 2. Communicative approach The communicative approach is based on the idea that learning languague successfully comes throungh having to communicative real meaning
  • 3. Principals of languages How the learners acquire the lenguaje? What is the theory of the languague?
  • 4. PRINCIPALS OF LANGUAGUES • Students need to have contact with the foreign language, teachers use multimedia resources like: TV, DVDs, video and audio tapes, radio, online to achieve a maximum exposure. 1st The declarative input principle: • Tasks help to get the interlocutor’s help in comprehending input, and receive feedback on their language production. 2nd The controlled practice principle:
  • 5. • The grammar teaching is related with contexts and through communicative tasks. 3rd The focus on form principle: • communicative practice should always have a specific formal or functional focus, and should always be associated with target phrases to practice. 4th The focused interaction principle
  • 6. • grammar points like; fixed expressions, idioms, set phrases, collocations that will be put in practice into the communication. 5th The formulaic language principle: • learners need to be active producers of language; they should be encouraged to express their own meanings in order to apply their capacities and skills. 6th Promote Learning by Doing:
  • 7. • Feedback has two different ways: • Positive: when teachers agree and demonstrate this behavior showing understanding. • Negative: when errors need correction. 7th Provide Error Corrective Feedback: • motivation makes progresses and approaches to the students with their goals. • Anxiety and other negative factors delay the learning of a second language. 8th Recognize and Respect Affective Factors of Learning:
