1) Political leaders are trying to gratify themselves by promoting sectarian ideas around language and identity, while opponents disguise themselves as broad-minded.
2) As a common man, the author feels torn between protecting his self-respect and livelihood, and embracing a more unifying attitude.
3) The solution is for common people to understand that feelings of inadequacy or fear of domination are generalized, and to rise above obstacles through growth rather than reacting viciously.
New Study Of Gita Nov 5 Dr. Shriniwas J. Kashalikarchitreajit
Dr. Shriniwas Kashalikar discusses his study of the Bhagavad Gita over many years. Initially, he was put off by references to war in the first chapter and did not see the relevance to everyday life. Through continued study, he realized the Gita deals with the inner war between our higher and lower selves. It provides guidance to achieve liberation from attachment and live according to our true nature. He now understands the Gita can help rejuvenate society by inspiring people to work for universal welfare and blossoming of all. The Gita addresses both personal problems and social issues in a holistic way without providing rigid ideologies.
Family Diety (Kuladevata) Dr. Shriniwas Kashalikarchitreajit
This document discusses the author's childhood experiences visiting the Laxmi-Narayan temple in Walaval, India. As a child, the author found the temple and surrounding area pleasant, with its red brick roads, tea shops, and the temple itself overseeing a lake. However, later in life the author was drawn to Marxist analysis and felt the family deity seemed redundant. But now the author believes the family deity concept helps introduce individuals to cosmic consciousness and plays an important role in individual and social development. The author feels their family deity in Walaval can remind visitors of cosmic consciousness through its beautiful setting.
New Study Of Gita Dec 01 Dr. Shriniwas J. Kashalikarchitreajit
This document discusses the author's past dislike of the Bhagavad Gita and how his views have changed over time. In his youth, the author disliked the Gita because he saw it as promoting escapism from social problems. However, through studying the Gita more, experiencing social service, and reflecting on his experiences, the author came to see the Gita as something that can transform people's perspectives and evolve them into more objective, globally benevolent thinking. The author now believes practicing devotion like Namasmaran from a young age helps one appreciate the Gita's teachings.
New Study Of Gita Nov 13 Dr. Shriniwas Kashalikarchitreajit
The document discusses key concepts from the Bhagavad Gita. It explains how consciousness trapped in the body, mind and ego is the enemy, but can become a friend through yoga and namasmarn. It describes Arjuna's vision of Krishna's cosmic form and how this overwhelmed him. Lord Krishna explains different paths of worship like focusing on formless cosmic consciousness or worshipping through idols or names to help people connect to the divine.
The document discusses the Brazilian PHP community and mentions that certain places in Brazil have PHP user groups. It notes the date of December 1, 2009 in multiple locations.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

zkStudyClub - Reef: Fast Succinct Non-Interactive Zero-Knowledge Regex ProofsAlex Pruden
This paper presents Reef, a system for generating publicly verifiable succinct non-interactive zero-knowledge proofs that a committed document matches or does not match a regular expression. We describe applications such as proving the strength of passwords, the provenance of email despite redactions, the validity of oblivious DNS queries, and the existence of mutations in DNA. Reef supports the Perl Compatible Regular Expression syntax, including wildcards, alternation, ranges, capture groups, Kleene star, negations, and lookarounds. Reef introduces a new type of automata, Skipping Alternating Finite Automata (SAFA), that skips irrelevant parts of a document when producing proofs without undermining soundness, and instantiates SAFA with a lookup argument. Our experimental evaluation confirms that Reef can generate proofs for documents with 32M characters; the proofs are small and cheap to verify (under a second).

How Race, Age and Gender Shape Attitudes Towards Mental HealthThinkNow
Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).
AI Trends in Creative Operations 2024 by Artwork Flow.pdfmarketingartwork
Creative operations teams expect increased AI use in 2024. Currently, over half of tasks are not AI-enabled, but this is expected to decrease in the coming year. ChatGPT is the most popular AI tool currently. Business leaders are more actively exploring AI benefits than individual contributors. Most respondents do not believe AI will impact workforce size in 2024. However, some inhibitions still exist around AI accuracy and lack of understanding. Creatives primarily want to use AI to save time on mundane tasks and boost productivity.
Organizational culture includes values, norms, systems, symbols, language, assumptions, beliefs, and habits that influence employee behaviors and how people interpret those behaviors. It is important because culture can help or hinder a company's success. Some key aspects of Netflix's culture that help it achieve results include hiring smartly so every position has stars, focusing on attitude over just aptitude, and having a strict policy against peacocks, whiners, and jerks.

Google's Just Not That Into You: Understanding Core Updates & Search IntentLily Ray
1. Core updates from Google periodically change how its algorithms assess and rank websites and pages. This can impact rankings through shifts in user intent, site quality issues being caught up to, world events influencing queries, and overhauls to search like the E-A-T framework.
2. There are many possible user intents beyond just transactional, navigational and informational. Identifying intent shifts is important during core updates. Sites may need to optimize for new intents through different content types and sections.
3. Responding effectively to core updates requires analyzing "before and after" data to understand changes, identifying new intents or page types, and ensuring content matches appropriate intents across video, images, knowledge graphs and more.

On September 18, 2009, AGC Automotive celebrated 20 years of
business operations at their Elizabethtown Kentucky plant. The
“Asahi Glass Corporation” is one of the largest providers of custom
designed glass (automotive windshields), as well as flat glass
(commercial buildings), in the world! The AGC E-town plant
specializes in providing windshields to automotive manufacturers
throughout the eastern and central United States.
In addition to simply being proud at being invited to attend as a
current provider of security, we were especially privileged to “share”
in this celebration as a true partner. Industrial Security Service
has been providing service for this particular plant for more
than the 20 years! We actually provided service during the
construction phase in 1988, as well.
In honor of our relationship, Industrial Security Service presented
Mr. Tom Crittenden, Plant Manager, with a framed painting that
celebrated one of the many traditions associated with the
Commonwealth of Kentucky: horse breeding. This painting is
currently on display in their plant lobby area.
Attending the ceremony from AGC Automotive included Mr. Brad
Kitterman, President & CEO, Mr. Yoshihiro Hoshita, Automotive
Manufacturing Unit Leader, Mr. Tom Throop, V.P. Automotive
Business Unit, Mr. Mike Antanochi, V.P. Operations, and Mr. Tom
Crittenden, Plant Manager.
Attending on behalf of Industrial Security Service was V.P. of Quality
& Compliance Andrea Pierce, Region Manager, Operations &
Business Development Tim Cember, Operations Manager Greg Noe,
and John Richardson who has been the Site Supervisor at AGC
Automotive for over eighteen (18) years!!!
