1. Jesse James research paper
My research paper is on Jesse James. The reason I choose him is because I
have a little back ground knowledge on him. He is a very interesting man. He was
born on September 5, 1847. He had his own gang called the younger James gang.
His gang was the most wanted gang in American history.
I choose to do a wanted poster for my first artifact. The reason I choose to
do a wanted poster is because it fits right in with the person I am doing my
research paper on. The reason I put “responsible for the counties money” is
because he was always robbing the counties money. The reason I choose to put
5000 is because that sounds like that was a simple price from that time.
For my second artifact I choose to do a obituary letter. A obituary letter is
basically a letter that you would read at his funeral when he died. The reason I
choose to do this is because he was a very famous person and probably had a lot
of people coming to his funeral. He died on April 3, 1882. I tried to base the
information on his time. They way I tried to do that was I based it like I was there
my self. They obituary latter was a little tough for me but I got right through it.
The last artifact that I did was an new letter. The reason I did this one is we
have to choose two out of three artifacts to be a writing ones. The news letter
was just like me being a old reporter and me having to tell about Jesse Death in
the new article. The news paper article was kinda tricky cause I tried not to write
the same thing as the obituary. the news paper article was a little hard. The only
thing I didn’t get was getting it started. I didn’t know ho to start off at the very
beginning.
