Point 1: Several elements of this story are true as exhibited by the fact that there are at least five references to “robin hood” who was mentioned in several parts across England from York in the North as well as Berkshire in the South. Robin was an amalgam of historical figures. Point 2: Likely, Robin Hood was based on the actions of a real man whose name has since been lost to history. In the present day, Robin Hood is synonymous with notoriety and his virtues are well-remembered. Point 3: The story is believed by the peoples in the place from where the character originates. Moreover, the story has a significant importance in their culture and beliefs because he stole from the rich and distributed to the poor, which made him a hero among them. Even if time forgot the man behind the name, his message still lives on. .
