Detour Gold reports total cash costs on a sales basis. Total cash costs per gold ounce sold include production costs such as mining, processing, refining, site administration, costs associated with providing royalty in-kind ounces, and costs for agreements with Aboriginal communities, but are exclusive of depreciation and depletion, reclamation, non-cash share-based compensation and deferred stripping. Total cash costs are reduced by silver sales and divided by gold ounces sold to arrive at total cash costs per gold ounce sold.
