1. Job Description DFMEA Moderator & Electronics Technical Referent
Location: Tarragona. Spain
Responsibilities: Λ Lead engineering teams in developing component DFMEA’s in a systematic
approach using IQ-PRO software. Responsible for working with engineering
teams (Hardware, Software, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering) to develop all
DFMEA’s into a data base for use on a global level.
Work Scope: Λ General: Leads engineering DFMEA activity in IQ-Pro and supports when
there are important technical doubts with cross-functional implications.
Λ Details:
Λ Works with the engineering team and guides them through the DFMEA process
using the IQ-Pro software
Λ Understands fault tree analysis and methodology and can communicate this to
the engineering teams
Λ Manage DFMEA workshops with teams of 5-15 participants
Λ Responsible for change history of DFMEA’s and transfer of requirement into
PFMEA process (Ys & Yc).
Λ Leads and trains engineering teams in new DFMEA process and methodology
and can make changes as required by the engineering teams
Λ Responsible for managing the master data base of all component DFMEA’s
and insuring that updates are made in a timely manner
Λ Reports monthly progress to the Director Electronics Customer Project Leaders
Europe
Λ Runs status reports in the system and can identify risks and opportunities
Λ Can perform all tasks as assigned
Qualifications: Λ BSE, Technical Degree or equivalent experience
Λ Experience with IQ-PRO
Λ Must have proven track record and extensive work experience in developing
DFMEA’s
Λ Proven track record and extensive work experience in development electronics
products
Λ Nice to have: technical expert on systems combining electronics, software and
mechanics, with enough expertise accumulated to serve as a referent for all the
engineering areas, specially when there is cross-functional implications
Λ Understanding of PFMEA and process flow a plus
Λ Experience as a trainer a plus
Λ Automotive experience at the tier 1 level preferred
