Once a team is able to automatically produce deliverables, deploy them in a test environment and automatically assess some aspects of its quality, it has all the tools in hand to be able to automatically roll out code in a production environment. While the main tools and techniques are already in place, this step cannot be taken lightly and presents its own challenges. This presentation explains the different techniques for rolling out code in a production environment while limiting or avoiding downtime. More advanced techniques such as A / B testing or deployments rollbacks will also be covered.
