Mindtree partnered with a global CPG company to develop a mobile field sales enablement solution to address key issues with their traditional CRM system. The solution involved developing a browser-based Android tablet app that allowed Territory Sales Officers to access relevant sales data, store details, alerts and communications from a centralized server. It also enabled them to submit required information back to the server. The solution was implemented in four phases, starting with base app functionality and adding features like security, SMS integration and maps integration. A phased approach allowed the customer to quickly use core features while Mindtree added enhancements. This improved supply chain, increased productivity and enabled better decision making for sales officers.
