What is honesty?
What does an honest child
do?
An honest child always tells
the truth and acts truthfully.
The story is about two
boys who acted honestly to
help another.
Two Honest Boys
It was Saturday morning. Luis and Jose
were in the park. They were sitting on a bench
talking about their school project.
A girl was sitting on the bench
next to theirs. After a while, the girl
stood up and left. The boys noticed that
the girl left her bag on the bench.
The boys hurriedly picked up the bag and
ran after the girl. They returned the bag to her.
The girl was very happy. She thanked Luis
and Jose. She praised them for their honesty.
The three of them became good friends.
What would you do if you
were in a similar
situation?
God is always true and faithful.
He wants us to always tell the
truth. We should be honest at all
times.
We are being honest when
we do the following:
A. Telling the truth when our
parents and elders ask us
something.
B. Returning the things we find
that are not ours.
C. Coming forward to tell the truth
about what actually happened in a
given situation.
Always remember:
“Honesty is the best
policy.”
