1. Teenager, James, is driving
his car as he receives a text
message. Will he pull over
to read the text or will he
read it on the go and risk a
horrific accident?
To help us achieve this we will use our
audio and lighting skills to create the right
atmosphere for the audience to feel and
understand what we are intending to put
across. We want them to sympathise for
certain characters and feel the power of
the message – by using these techniques
we hope to achieve this.
Disrupted narrative – showing parallel
worlds
The story takes two parts; one world
showing what would have
happened if James read his text
whilst driving, the other showing
what would have happened if he
was sensible and pulled over to
read the message.
We will use a range of camera
angles, shots and techniques to
create the perfect atmosphere,
to build up tension when
necessary and guide the
audience through the story.
