OpenStack is a cloud operating system that controls large pools of compute, storage, and networking resources throughout a datacenter, all managed through a dashboard that gives administrators control while empowering their users to provision resources through a web interface. Juju, a cloud orchestration platform from Ubuntu, enables you to build entire environments in the cloud with only a few commands on public clouds like Amazon Web Services and HP Cloud, to private clouds built on OpenStack. LXC is the userspace control package for Linux Containers, a lightweight virtual system mechanism sometimes described as “chroot on steroids”. LXC builds up from chroot to implement complete virtual systems, adding resource management and isolation mechanisms to Linux’s existing process management infrastructure. How cool would it be, to walk around with a private cloud on your laptop?

Storage based snapshots for KVM VMs in CloudStack
This document discusses storage-based snapshots for KVM VMs in CloudStack. Dynamic management of kubernetes
